I say this because I used to do exactly the same thing and kick myself for it each time I open an old model. It makes so much more work with the groups, when you want to change something later. If they were components and you add another component within (say a trim for example) it will automatically be added to the other side. The way you have things set up at the moment, you would have to copy that component into the other group side.

Oh also,

You could hide the centreline that runs through the model, that tidies it up a little too.

I see the spokes, axel and hub as well as other parts are also groups. Again, I would only use components to make changes easier down the road.

The Senn Model One was developed at the request of guitarbuilder Jeff Senn, who wanted a pickup that offered the toneof a vintage Guyatone single-coil gold foil pickup. Though ourSenn Model One is a humbucker, it has the clarity and chime ofa single-coil, with a very, very clear and open tone and plenty ofsustain and overtones. Rout dimensions: 3.625" x 1.560".

NOTE: 1/16" and 1/8" shims are available for top mounting.

For more than three decades, Jason Lollar has designed and built some of the most sought-after pickups for electric guitar, bass, and steel guitar. If you're on a quest for tone, we can help. Call us today and let us help you find the best guitar pickups for you.

Background:  Low back pain (LBP) is a major health problem. Globally it is responsible for the most years lived with disability. The most problematic type of LBP is chronic LBP (pain lasting longer than 3 mo); it has a poor prognosis and is costly, and interventions are only moderately effective. Targeting interventions according to risk profile is a promising approach to prevent the onset of chronic LBP. Developing accurate prognostic models is the first step. No validated prognostic models are available to accurately predict the onset of chronic LBP. The primary aim of this study was to develop and validate a prognostic model to estimate the risk of chronic LBP.

Methods and findings:  We used the PROGRESS framework to specify a priori methods, which we published in a study protocol. Data from 2,758 patients with acute LBP attending primary care in Australia between 5 November 2003 and 15 July 2005 (development sample, n = 1,230) and between 10 November 2009 and 5 February 2013 (external validation sample, n = 1,528) were used to develop and externally validate the model. The primary outcome was chronic LBP (ongoing pain at 3 mo). In all, 30% of the development sample and 19% of the external validation sample developed chronic LBP. In the external validation sample, the primary model (PICKUP) discriminated between those who did and did not develop chronic LBP with acceptable performance (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve 0.66 [95% CI 0.63 to 0.69]). Although model calibration was also acceptable in the external validation sample (intercept = -0.55, slope = 0.89), some miscalibration was observed for high-risk groups. The decision curve analysis estimated that, if decisions to recommend further intervention were based on risk scores, screening could lead to a net reduction of 40 unnecessary interventions for every 100 patients presenting to primary care compared to a "treat all" approach. Limitations of the method include the model being restricted to using prognostic factors measured in existing studies and using stepwise methods to specify the model. Limitations of the model include modest discrimination performance. The model also requires recalibration for local settings.

Conclusions:  Based on its performance in these cohorts, this five-item prognostic model for patients with acute LBP may be a useful tool for estimating risk of chronic LBP. Further validation is required to determine whether screening with this model leads to a net reduction in unnecessary interventions provided to low-risk patients.

For use with Model A and C Indoor Rowers. This is the pickup (sensor) and cable (wire) that transmit flywheel to the Performance Monitor on your indoor rower. If your monitor lights up with zeros but the display does not change when you begin rowing, you may need to replace this part. If the cable or cable housing is cut or broken you will definitely need to replace this part. See more info.

I am looking at a 1928 roadster pickup with the open top which is in excellent condition but I don't know a lot about the Model A's. Do the hard top trucks have more room inside? I had a hard time getting in and out of the truck. Also are both trucks about the same in value or is the roadster more desirable? The one I am looking at is selling for $19K but NADA list it for about $33K high retail. Is this a real world price?

The roadster pickup generally sells for more than the closed, even though the top is fixed. At any given time there are a lot of Model As for sale on the market. If I were you I would look around for something cheaper. Of all the As the tudor is probably the best to fit into as the seat moves back and there is no wall behind you. It is also the most common and hence the lowest priced.

I had a roadster pickup and they are tight. The doors are narrower than the closed cab trucks and the seat is very close to the steering wheel. Remember, people were a little smaller back then! Roadsters are neat and draw attention but they suffer from a lot of wind noise, top flap and sometimes the windshield will push in on you if not installed correctly. You also can get very wet when if caugh in the rain. The closed cab offers a slight bit more room, protection from weather, less road noise and a little heat if it gets chilly. If the truck is REALLY nice $19,000 might be a fair price but trucks don't usually command high dollars unless they're next to perfect. Remember too, that trucks are a 2 passenger vehicle so if you have a family it will be restrictive and with no enclosed storage! Problem with pricing today is that everyone thinks they're sitting on a gold mine regardless of condition or originality. Note also, at least in my opinon, that any modern modifications drastically lower the overall value regardless of the improvment in driveability!

Second off. Is the car truly restored? Keep in mind that the Model A from the factory could do 60 MPH all day long and feel comfortable running that fast. YES, even on the crappy lack of paved roads in the day. They were considered extremely reliable which is the reason why you read about people in the day hopping in their A and driving all over the country.

Ford was able to build a car to do this through extreme (like race car standards today) precision machining and balancing. This is lost to most people today and the mechanicals are rebuilt with the attitude it is just an old car.

The new 2024 Jeep Gladiator is engineered to meet the strength and capability standards you demand. Experience the versatility of legendary off-road performance and incredible utility. Rubicon model shown gets a max towing capacity of 7,000 pounds, a payload of 1,250 pounds and 11.1 inches of ground clearance.

New available 12-way power front seats have been optimized for visibility on the trail and are designed for water fording up to 31.5 inches, with waterproofed motor and wiring mechanisms to prevent loss of functionality if they get wet. Plus, the driver and front passenger can now easily adjust their seats for personalized comfort.

The Pickup Lumberjack has 3 modes: R (Reverse), N (Neutral), D (Forward). The spring's energy is transferred to a gear set to increase the gear ratio, through the gearbox, then to the drive shaft, differential, and rear axle. A Start/Stop mechanism located in the truck bed allows you to start the truck on command. Because this is Ugears, and because we love to focus on the small, whimsical details that make a model exceptional, a small pendulum under the seats simulates the shaking of a truck's powerful engine. Bent plywood gives the model beautiful lines and 1950's styling. The Pickup's doors open from inside and outside, and the tailgate folds down. The front wheels can be turned using the steering wheel and locked in place for graceful turns. The Pickup Lumberjack also features front and rear spring suspension so you don't get bounced around too much on those country roads.

The Pickup Lumberjack model kit has 460 pieces, is rated "Advanced" difficulty, and will provide 8+ hours of fun during assembly.
