At the end of each in-game day, the player earns money based on how many people have been processed (and bribes collected), lowered by citation penalties for protocol violations, and then must decide on a simple budget to spend that money on rent, food, heat and other necessities in low-class housing for their family. Accepting bribes risks being discovered and imprisoned by the government. As relations between Arstotzka and nearby countries deteriorate, sometimes due to terrorist attacks, new rules are added such as denying entry to citizens of specific countries or demanding new types of documentation. The player may be challenged with moral dilemmas as the game progresses, such as allowing the supposed spouse of an immigrant through despite lacking complete papers at the risk of accepting a terrorist into the country. The game uses a mix of scripted encounters interspersed between randomly generated entrants.

Although the stories they tell are important, the most important thing during inspection is to take a good look at all their papers. For the first few days, you only have to look over the passport and perhaps another piece of paper or a permit. But as the weeks go by, tensions at the border begin to escalate, requiring you to pay attention to many additional factors. You'll have to look at fingerprints, do body scans, and manage many other bureaucratic tasks that will make it harder to do your job in a timely manner.

This is, I think, the hitch in my recommendation of Papers, Please, and it's not one everyone will be able to surmount. The bulk of the game, the main mechanic, if you will, is reviewing documents, consulting a rulebook, rearranging papers for a better view of all the information. After the hundredth time or so, double and triple checking, it can get very, very boring. But that boredom, that tedium, is the key to the game.

Papers, Please, one of the most acclaimed indie games out there, is now available on mobile phones. For those unfamiliar with the game, Papers, Please is a relatively unique indie game that puts the players in the shoes of an immigration officer who is trying to make sure the right people get through the border of a fictional Soviet-esque country. As the game progresses, you must identify falsified papers, potential threats, and more, all while balancing a personal budget to try and keep your family alive. It's an incredibly interesting game and one that was hailed by critics at the time of its release and has continued to be a fan favorite over the years.

The design of the study is satisfactory. However one of the major concern is that the study do not report the evaluation results of the surveyed papers. They should include table w.r.t evasion techniques and corresponding evasion results obtained in the literature. e.g. study A uses X evasion technique and successfully evaded n% of the sample under observation.

Moreover at multiple places in the article, headings are missing. (highlighted in the pdf).

A FeaturePaper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook forfuture research directions and describes possible research applications.

We present a growing collection of Android apps collected from severalsources, including the official Google Play app market and a growing collectionof various metadata of those collected apps aiming at facilitating theAndroid-relevant research works. Our dataset by far has collected over fivemillion apps and over 20 types of metadata such as VirusTotal reports. Ourobjective of collecting this dataset is to contribute to ongoing researchefforts, as well as to enable new potential research topics on Android Apps. Byreleasing our app and metadata set to the research community, we also aim atencouraging our fellow researchers to engage in reproducible experiments. This article will be continuously updated based on the growing apps andmetadata collected in the AndroZoo project. If you have specific metadata thatyou want to collect from AndroZoo and which are not yet provided by far, pleaselet us know. We will thereby prioritise it in our collecting process so as toprovide it to our fellow researchers in a short manner.

We seek your assistance! If you are attending the 2017 AAEA Annual Meeting, please consider volunteering to serve as a Session Moderator. One moderator is needed for each selected presentation and lightning session to keep the session on schedule and to foster interesting discussion that will hopefully provide helpful feedback to presenters. Sessions have up to four presenters, and lightning sessions will have up to eight presenters; all will last 90 minutes. Volunteer moderators will receive detailed instructions via email prior to the Annual Meeting. If you are interested in volunteering and have not yet filled out the form, please fill out our very short moderator form here.

If you need an invitation letter from AAEA in order to attend the 2017 AAEA Annual Meeting, please request one by emailing your full name to info@aaea.org. If you need proof of presenting, please include your abstract ID# and presentation title(s) in your email.

With all of the travel updates and policy changes we strongly encourage attendees, especially presenters to take proactive measures in booking travel. If you are visiting Chicago from a country outside of the U.S., please refer to the visa requirements to help make your travel arrangements.

This is a graduate research-oriented course. Each student will read, summarize, and present several scientific papers. Students will work in pairs or groups of three to propose, implement, and present an original project that advances the state-of-the-art in mobile application analysis. The course will also focus on polishing the students' research, development, communication, and technical presentation skills.

For weeks 3-5, 7, and 9-13 students will read the assigned research papers (two or three papers each week). Each student will submit a one-page summary of each paper that describes (a) the main idea of the paper, (b) a critical review that includes paper strengths and weaknesses (beyond those listed in the paper), and (c) suggestions for improvement and follow-up work.

Each week, a student will present one of the assigned research papers to the class (two or three students each week). The student should summarize the paper, discuss its strengths and weaknesses, and lead the discussion on the paper. Depending on the number of course participants, each student will present 1-2 papers. Students do not need to submit summaries of the papers they present. 2351a5e196
