Language packs add additional display, help, and proofing tools to Microsoft 365. You can install additional language accessory packs after installing Microsoft 365. If a language accessory pack is described as having partial localization, some parts of Microsoft 365 may still display in the language of your copy of Microsoft 365.

If you're an administrator who has deployed a volume licensed version of Office 2016 to your users, you can download an ISO image of the language packs, language interface packs, and proofing tools from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC).

Select the version of Microsoft 365 you're using from the tabs below, then select the language desired from the drop-down list. Then choose the appropriate architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) from the download links provided. If you're not sure what you're using, see What version am I using?

If the language accessory pack includes proofing tools for that language, its status appears as Proofing installed. If the status is Proofing available, click the link to install the proofing tools.

You can change the default language for all your Microsoft 365 applications in the Set the Office Language Preferences dialog. For more information, see Add a language or set language preferences in Office.

New York State Department of Education approved the examination in Modern Greek on June 20, 1972, marking a significant milestone for the District Office of Education. The inclusion of the Modern Greek examination in the state's educational system was a landmark achievement. At that time, the only other language exams offered were for Romance languages. This decision recognized the significance of the Greek language and its rich history, encouraging students to explore and embrace it as part of their education.

For nearly four decades, the language Regents exams played a vital role in assessing students' language skills in various subjects. However, in 2009-10, language Regents exams, including Greek, were removed from schools. This change necessitated the development of alternative examination methods by individual school districts.

Fortunately, the District Office of Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese stepped in to ensure that the Greek language continued to be represented within the New York educational system. They obtained permission to offer a Greek (LOTE) exam, enabling students to showcase their proficiency in Modern Greek.

Despite ongoing changes implemented by the New York State Department of Education, the District Office of Education remains steadfast in its commitment to preserving and promoting the Greek language. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese continues to work diligently to ensure that the Greek language is celebrated and given the recognition it deserves within the educational landscape of New York.

On some computers, Microsoft Office may still display in the English language instead of the language that is selected for Windows. In such a scenario, the user must download the language pack for Microsoft Office and choose the language of their preference.

My issue is that I can't write in VBA code in Greek language and I can't view the msgboxes in Greek. I can do this only by putting the text in some cells and giving the value of the cell to the msgbox.

The Center for the Greek Language (Greek: ) is a cultural and educational organization which aims to promote the Greek language and culture. It was founded in 1994.[1] The center is based in Thessaloniki, and also has an office in Athens. The Center for the Greek Language acts as a coordinating, advisory and strategic organ of the Greek Ministry of Education on matters of language education and policy. Its functions include providing materials and support for people learning Greek as a foreign language.[1][2] It is linked to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

This article describes methods of deploying and managing language packs for versions of Office 2016 that use the Windows Installer (MSI) installation technology, which are available for enterprises through volume licensing. Office 2016 is available in many languages. In an international setting, you can deploy multiple language versions of Office 2016 in a single installation process. Setup combines a language-neutral core product with one or more language-specific packages to create a complete product.

On the source media, language-specific packages are organized into separate folders. Each folder name has a language tag appended to it, in the form ll-cc. That tag identifies the language and culture. For example, U.S. English language folders are identified by the folder name extension en-us. The language tags help you determine the folders that you have to copy to the network installation point.

The language folders that are included in a fully localized version of an Office 2016 product are the same as the language folders that are included in the Microsoft Office 2016 Language Pack for a specific language. For example, the same Outlook.ar-sa folder is used in the Arabic language version of Office 2016, the Arabic language version of Outlook 2016, and the Office 2016 Language Pack - Arabic.

Office 2016 offers localized versions in all the languages that are listed in the following table. Folders for the language-specific components are identified by the language tag that is shown in the table. The Windows operating system uses locale identifiers (LCIDs) to identify languages in the Windows registry.

In addition to the fully localized languages listed here, Office 2016 provides Language Interface Packs (LIPs), which contain a subset of language-specific components and are designed to be installed together with a logical parent language. In addition, the study of this ancient language provides excellent training in logical analysis and a superior understanding of how languages function to convey meaning. Reading Greek literature in the original language enables students to engage deeply with the intellectual world of ancient cultures and so to reflect on our own in a more informed fashion.
