So let me explain, I'm trying to convert a .nkit.iso file into just an ISO, but whenever I try to process it in the Nkit processing program, it just says "Error" under the System Column. For context, I'm trying to convert Wii Sports into an ISO so my brother and I can modify the sound files. I downloaded the version with all the Wii partition files so it would work properly, but I still couldn't get it to work. I previously clicked on some other files in the same folder out of curiosity, but all they did was show a command prompt for 0.1 seconds (I'm mentioning this because maybe it can help you find out why it's not working). I did everything I could to get it to work. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

To convert it back, simply drag the .nkit.iso or .nkit.gcz file to "ConvertToIso.exe". You don't have to worry about update partitions; they were automatically put in the correct place when you converted the image to NKit.

Hi guys, I got a Wii ROM (.nkit.gcz) from the newest megathread and when I try to convert it to ISO, it goes into the Match_Fail folder, which I don't think should happen. What causes this and what can I possibly do to fix it?

Hey all, I got the nkit processing app from gbatemp and i've been trying to use it to convert some wii wbfs files, but i keep getting the matchfail error. It specifically says "[number] not in Redump or Custom Dat". From what I've gathered it's some sort of hash issue, but I don't know how to fix it. I got a dat file with some info about the wii discs that supposedly fixes the problem, but whether I put it in custom or redump it hasn't made a difference. I'm not quite sure where to go from here. Is it an issue with the files, or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

@fernando Oh I see, well as I wrote I've never used it, so I have no idea even how to use it. I do get the same issue once trying to use it, so it's definitely not on your end.The dev of nkit is pretty nice though, but not sure he uses Linux, maybe you can get help from him and then feel free to tell me whatever I need to do :). It may be an issue with it not using .Net Core yet though.

1- First, you need to convert the Nkit file into a normal ISo file by using the Nkit processing app. To download this app, click on the following link  . Once the download completes, convert the file and use it on the Wii backup manager.

2- Once the app is downloaded, open it up, drag the Nkit file, and drop it into the Nkit processing app. On the right side, move under the setting and change the Mode to Convert into ISO. Then click on the process button at the bottom right side of the screen. ff782bc1db
