Note: Available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider, software version, and device model. Smart View is not available on every device. Devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network as the TV for screen mirroring. A Samsung Account is required.*

For iPhones, the screen mirroring feature is called AirPlay, and it does the same exact thing - mirror images, videos, or other media. Using AirPlay is similar, but a little different from using Smart View.

Important: Make sure your TV is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone. Some TVs may require you to switch inputs or turn on screen mirroring. Compatibility with non-Samsung TVs may vary or may not be available. Check your TV's user manual for specific details. SmartView is not an app you download on your phone and is located in the Quick settings panel.

Imagine showing off your incredible photos on a bigger screen by connecting a Samsung mobile device to a Samsung Smart TV. Check out how easy you can mirror your favorite photos, videos, presentations, and games on a large screen to make them look bigger and better.

If you prefer to switch to full screen on connected device whenever Smart View starts mirroring your phone's screen, you can switch on 'Remember settings' as a handy option for you. Please note that this may cause some apps to restart.

I've always loved the ease of use of having a video/picture file i wish to stream using the my local network using the play content feature instead of mirroring screen. The quality is often better and I can utilise the smart TV or console remote for playback.

I'm having the problem now that when i'm trying to stream to my TV it's no longer giving the option to "play content" only mirror screen, which is reallllly annoying. I've had this issue before that managed to fix itself somehow, but since my phone updated on monday the option is gone, and despite my best efforts i can't seem to find the option again.

see photo...it use to show up there. but now even though the TV's on and visible on the network it doesn't find it. when I go to mirror screen option on the LG TV it doesn't show up there either, but will when I go to play a video and select the smart view, but still only getting the option to mirror screen.

I don't use this function often. I'm experiencing the same as you. I used to be able to stream to Samsung and non Samsung TVs. Smart View app which is no longer supported may allow streaming to your Samsung TV. You can download it from apkmirror which is a safe site to use.

I have an A32 5G that I would like to mirror to my TV. I do not have home WIFI, so I must use a cable. I've found that the common USB-C to HDMI cable will not work with the A32 because the A32 does not support MHL. However, I have seen some claims that if you get an MHL USB-C to HDMI cable, it will work. Does anyone know if this is true? I am not trying to view any subscriptions like Netflix, etc. I know it probably won't work with that. I would only like to view pictures, files, videos, etc. on a larger screen. I have a smart TV and a not-so-smart TV.

Well, I've found the Wifi Direct on my phone, but it doesn't show the tv (a Vizio) as an "available device". However, when I go to my tv settings, I can go to "mobile devices" and it says that my phone is paired with the tv. Is that what I am supposed to accomplish with the Wifi Direct?Assuming the phone and tv are really paired, how then do I mirror my screen? Is there a setting on the phone for that? You're dealing with a technologic dweeb here, lol, so I apologize for all the questions. I appreciate this suggestion and I'm hoping this eventually works!

I recently purchased a s8+ tab and I'm loving it, I'm trying hard to disable mirroring when connected to an external monitor using USB docking station and an hdmi cable. When connected its mirroring my tab screen as expected however, while switching to dex mode, it's still in mirroring mode and it's very irritating to use it.

You can display your phone on the big screen with one click. The AirBeamTV app will cast to Samsung TVs instantly. Once you download the app, you can start mirroring quickly at any time. Your phone screen will display wirelessly and directly to your TV, no cables needed.

Great app! Responsive tech teamI was looking for an app that would allow me to mirror my laptop wirelessly on my TV and this one certainly does an excellent job. I had some trouble getting the mirroring to work. I emailed the tech support and they responded within an hour with a fix. Thank you and keep up the excellent work!

Do you already have a Disney+ subscription and you like to use your laptop to cast Disney Plus to your TV? Download the mirroring app for Samsung TV for Mac and use Chrome or Firefox browser to stream Disney+ to your TV.

When i purchased my galaxy s10 edge, samsung dex screen mirroring worked just fine, with an hdmi cable to my non smart tv.

Now, when I connect the cable, only my phone desk top will display, and apps will only open in a small part of the screen. I can not make movies full screen any more.

Screen mirroring will not work, and I do not even have the option for screen mirroring in my settings any more.

Isn't it illegal to take away options from a device after it has already been purchased because of the options the device had????

Sorry but your post is a little confusing. At first it sounds like you are saying that you are only seeing screen mirroring with only a narrow phone screen displayed on your TV but later you say that screen mirroring is not working.

the back ground picture of my phone, along with a few apps, and the app menu, back, and something else, are all my tv will display. Dex is officially malfunctioning on my phone. I am supposed to be able to use screen mirroring on my phone, with my tv, with an hdmi cable. Not just the background picture with a few apps on the 'desktop' screen.

As soon as i connect the hdmi cable, the smart view app disappears, and there is no option to turn on screen mirroring on my phone.

When I disconnect the hdmi cable, then the smart view app becomes visible again, but I can not change any setting in it all.

My phone worked by mirroring the movie I am trying to watch to my tv when i connected the hdmi cable. Now it will not.

I tried connecting it to both my tv (1080p 60hz) and monitor (3440x1440 100hz) but regardless of what I do, I only get screen mirroring. I've looked at old threads and it seems this issue has appeared to others and I haven't seen a proper solution to this. I get no option to change to dex mode in my notifications bar. In "more connection settings" the hdmi mode is set to dex.

Samsung Electronics, a worldwide leader in innovative display solutions, announced that its mirror display has been commercially installed for the first time in a LEEKAJA HAIRBIS salon in Seoul, Korea.

Following the first commercial installation, Samsung expects the application of mirror displays to increase in various scenarios including fashion, furniture, interior design and retail. The 55-inch mirror display model will be available worldwide starting Q3, 2016.

I have a new Samsung TV and went to use the mirror function on the television. I do not have Apple TV, but would like to mirror my phone directly to the television. Is there a specific app I must use for my Apple iPhone to work with the Samsung TV?

IM sure you have figured it out by now but you DONT need Apple TV to mirror on a Samsung tv. There is an app you can get that allows for mirroring. There are two apps, one is 2.0 and the other is a 1.0. Depending on the model and year of the Samsung tv, either one will work just fine.

But I can't mirror my S20 or any Windows laptop on Roku. When I start Smart View on S20, it shows my Roku device as available mirror device. But if choose it, no message appears on Roku asking to accept the connection and after some time Smart View on the S20 gives up and shows a message about pressing the power button on the the TV (obviously the message doesn't apply to me since I am trying to mirror to a Roku device, not a TV).

I am not able to take any Mirror selfie from my s20 ultra. Whenver i try to take Mirror selfie it blur the photo, prevoiusly i was using iphone 11 pro max, it did not have this problem. I tried to find help on internet but found no solution of this problem. Note : Camera settings are on Default. I am facing this issue since i bought this phone and opened the box. I tried to take mirror selfie in different mirrors but got the same issue. I am using S20 Ultra exynos LTE version.

I would be greatful for some help. I have got WD mirror and samsung smart tv 6 series. I was able to acess all the media files on the WD mirror by creating a media server until a month ago on my smasung smart tv.

Used to own a Lenovo Z710 and had no issues to screen mirror thourgh WiFi to my 4K Samsung 43" smart TV.

Bought an Hp Omen two weeks ago and cannot connect through wireless WifI screen mirroring to the TV. The laptop discovers the TV, the TV asks to grant permission, granted, message pops-up on TV "connecting with "laptopName" and then the TV screem turns black for 5-10 seconds and the connection fails i.e. the TV screen returns to whatever was showing.

did any of you at Zwift HQ find a fix on this?

I use MS Wireless Desktop Adapter + Samsing A21s and its running smoothly; but when, for some reason, the phone disconnects to the adapter and the mirroring stops, Zwift app crashes. super frustrating.

Living and working in the digital age demand multitasking ability and increased agility from everyone. This is essential for higher productivity and faster communication, especially when you working in a large team. Therefore, your device needs to have the ability to give you a wide perspective and various options for each of your daily tasks. That can be accomplished quite easily with screen mirroring. ff782bc1db
