"Just Give Me a Reason" features Nate Ruess from the American band Fun. Originally, it was just a songwriting session but Pink realized that she needed someone else to sing the song with her because she thought that it was more of a conversation than a one-perspective song. She asked Ruess to sing the song with her as a duet.[5]

Pink said "I was like, 'no, this is a story, this is a conversation this song' - it needs the other perspective whether it's a guy and a girl, or two girls or two guys. 'I came in and tried to convince him that this was how the conversation was going to go and it was interesting you know, he was like 'I'll just do the demo cos I don't know about duets' and I totally tricked him into doing it, and I am so glad I was able to. 'I think now he's very happy that he did it, I think it's a beautiful song and I'm really, really proud of it.[6]

Specifically the chorus reminds me of a different song, but i can't think of which song and its killing me! If i had to guess i'd say its prob a song from an indie pop band from the early to mid 2000's...thinking DCFC/Postal Service or something along those lines...idk why but for some reason thats what my gut is telling me

It is a song about second chances. It's about digging deep enough when you've reached that point when things got stale and complacent and you're ready to get out... but instead of giving in, you should fight back. To realize that you're not broken - just bent - and that you CAN learn to love again. The message is about fighting for love and realizing that even if you fell out of love, you can always fall back in love again but you have to fight for it.

Tell me you have enough of our love..i guess it is saying that the other is fed up in their relationship.But still, she doesn't understand why it is all happening in their somehow perfect relationship.She is still hoping for their relationship to work out..fighting for it..even it it hurts her so much..the tears..she's holding it back..cause she truly believes that they must never give up on their relationship.just give me reason..it seems that her partner isn't working to fix their relationship,perhaps he's cold hearted...but still,just a lil reason will be enough..just a lil love....and she's fine..she'll be okay even with that little reason...its not broken just bend..so she'll do all her best effort to fix it..and continue their somehow "perfect" love...yes, its not going to be easy,especially if its just one-sided...it seems to be unfair..but still hoping that its all worth it....

"This song is featured on "The Truth about Love" album and is written about the desire that someone feels when they want to hold on to a relationship which appears to be breaking down over time. The song reflects the discord which often happens when communication is not open and the relationship begins to dissolve as a result. The line "Were not broken, just bent" reflects that with a little work and a lot of communication a relationship can be saved if both parties are willing to try to work it out"

Women often think too much into small things men do and then it snowballs , i have done this often and this sing really gets into my emotions as i have done this in my relationship, but with a little communication with my partner we "learned to love again" as i felt he was slipping away from me, and so pushed him away and so he felt i was going off of him and again its a snowball, but with communication , the love in not broken just bent, and we learned to lovee again. I quoted an article of what the song is about as this is what i thought it was, but the article said it in much better words than i could write, but this is how i interpreted the song when i first listened to the lyrics.

Puck had just defended Quinn from her boyfriend, which later rekindles their love, which is why they pick this song. They sing the song as the last song ever that is to be sung in the Choir Room. After that, Will announces that the kids present won't be able to sing in the Choir Room anymore, but that they should still sing the songs they have to sing outside of it.

These lines set the tone for the rest of the song. Pink is singing about a relationship that started off strong and promising, but somewhere along the way, things went sour. The relationship can be seen as a metaphor for the trust and vulnerability that we give to our partners.
