So the answer I always get is, "We're aware of this, but no ETA on a fix." That's just not acceptable. So I'm posting this to see if anyone has had any success with any hack to improve how jumpy things are on mobile.

I am having the same issue with the parallax scrolling effect creating a jumpy laggy experience on my mobile site. I cannot find the "animations" tab within site styles. Is animation exclusive to squarespace 7.1? I need a solution to the jumpy laggy look of my sites mobile version.

Has anyone been able to find a solution other than disabling site styles? I checked and don't have any enabled, but it still has this jumpy experience. I wonder if it is due to the first image on the page? Or maybe the padding? Although I have tried adjusting it already. So annoying!

The solution to getting rid of the jittery/jumpy behavior in the slider had nothing to do with "BringIntoView()" at all but instead with the rapidity of the two-way value binding behind the control. Adding Delay=1 to the binding got rid of any jittery behavior in the control. It essentially adds a 1 millisecond delay to the two-way binding allowing time for the UI to update accordingly.

In OrCAD, not only is it not 1:1, it is very jumpy. It tends to jump quite a lot, after which that panning operation is smooth. Each successive panning operation has this same initial jump. It makes panning fairly unusable, and there are no scroll bars either. What's causing this?

I finally got some video of how this jumpy motion looks. When I move the board around, I middle-click-and-hold, and smoothly move the mouse around. There is an initial jump of some distance, after which it pans around smoothly. This is consistent too - every time I start panning, it jumps abruptly at the start.

What are the common causes for jumpy / jittery wireless mouse? I've tried using them on my work PC many times and I get frustrated over the amount of jitters I get from it. I've tried uninstalling drivers, rebooting and letting them reinstall. I've tried different ports...same results.

When I shoot in manual mode in a variety of settings (see above) the video is too jumpy and jittery, specially when I am walking around or panning (even super slow panning) and/or if the subjects are moving around a lot. It's as if the stabilization is off and the shutter is at 1/10th...

That doesn't look like a camera or card issue to me. The pans in your examples are not slow and, as others have mentioned, the 4k video suffers more from rolling shutter. Aside from rolling shutter, I shoot handheld all the time and the only jumpy/jittery video I get is when my hands make a jumpy/jittery movement.

And just to make very sure, what exactly do you refer to with "Enscape renders" , perhaps you mean an actual rendered/exported video? If one of your exported videos is stuttery/jumpy than that is basically always a codec/media player issue - You can try something like VLC player which is free and should help with getting rid of this behavior.

When I'm zooming in or out of a map in Experience Builder, the zoom animation is very smooth when I'm using a trackpad, but when I use a mouse scroll wheel, there is no zoom animation and it looks very jumpy. I'm using a standard Logitech mouse. In the gif below, I'm using a mouse scroll wheel at first, and then switch to using a trackpad. I'm getting the same behavior whether it's my own Experience Builder app or someone else's.

I am editing a mini movie with numerous clips in imovie and whilst editing i play the clips back to see how they look... but once i go to full screen to play the whole movie it is jumpy and looks terrible!

@Fyrestar @mjurczyk I am currently not allowed to post that anywhere but I got to know that the issue of jumpy movements I was seeing was because I tried to apply a texture to a plane that already had a shrinkwrap modifier and a solidify modifier in blender. This might have caused some glitches.

Removing the texture from the plane works fine

Jumpy and slow cursor can be caused by Dynamic UCS being enabled (at least on the Windows version, I dont even know if it exists on the Mac version). Try toggling off DUCS at the bottom in the same area as OSNAP. Actually most of those commands can cause slow/jumpy cursors. Try toggling all of them off. Best of luck...

Horizontal zoom is smooth and fast. The new vertical zoom is so strange. Takes a second to register the mouse scroll and when it does it zooms vertically extremely laggy and jumpy. Seems to expand in large increments, rather than a lot of little ones.

2) VLC uses its own libraries for decoding A/V codecs, and does not use Perian, as far as I know. If it is "jumpy" then the solutions lies within VLC. You can try to set a time offset for subtitles in the menu, or maybe try another subtitle file, your's could be corrupt.

My Faderport 2 fader, when I have automation that is a linear rise in my DAW (Logic Pro X 10.4.8 on an iMac running OS 10.13.6), rises in a jumpy, "shaky" manner. I have written to technical support, who indicated that the fader "is more of a reference point than on point accuracy."

I've heard a video on Sweetwater's site that described the faders as noisy, but not jumpy. That reminds me of my old 01V96's faders before it died. It had a few channel faders that would get "stuck" between two values it was able to faithfully represent, and during a linear fade could jump between the two values erratically until it moved out of that spot. I recognized that as a failure state, where the fader itself was getting old and might not read correctly without a clean.

I have a dual boot Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows 7 and just added a Microsoft Wireless 3500 and when I booted with Windows it installed some drivers for it. When I went back to Ubuntu the wheel scroll was half page jumpy. I unplugged the USB dongle and plugged it back in and all was back to normal. I'm thinking there are some settings that get set in the mouse itself from the Windows driver. But the solution above of just reconnecting the mouse works for me. 2351a5e196
