I agree this needs to be added. I work at a very large insurance company and we are required to use internet explorer for all company domains. It would be very helpful for internet explorer to have a plugin/addon.

Its main improvements are to the performance of web applications and graphics making use of hardware acceleration using Direct2D and DirectX. Other features include the InPrivateBrowsing feature which allows users to browsing data (i.e. history); as for security, users are protected by what is called SmartScreen filter which blocks websites which are fraudulent or contain malware.

When I'm trying to install a built application (Labview 2010) on a computer running windows XP or windows 7 I get the error message "Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher required" (see attatched file). I have tried to install different versions of internet explorer on different machines using both windows XP and windows 7 but nothing helps.
Just a quick note, that Microsoft stopped all support for XP and IE8. So it is no longer a viable browser to use or test with... not to mention the major websites on the internet don't even allow there site to render in IE8, since it is now a dead browser version.
