i've tried to render a font awesome icon inside a datatable by sending a string as a parameter, the thing is that if isend a it renders without any problem; but when i try to render an icon, it doesn't. When i open the console it shows the icon is there (by example, ) but it doesn't render it at all. I've used methods of rendering like this one:

i have a table charged by Ajax call where in some cells i display a FONT AWESOME icon depending on value.

When i click to export as Excel or PDF, nothing appears in the cells where the font awesome icon is.

Each provided theme comes with its own icon font. It is simple to use one provided theme with another theme's icons. Set --ag-icon-font-family to one of: agGridQuartz, agGridAlpine, agGridBalham or agGridMaterial. You can compare the available icon fonts in the Provided Icons list.

If you are using the Sass API, it will embed the required font data for you. Apps using CSS should load the font's CSS file from whatever location they are loading ag-grid.css and other CSS files. For example to use the Material icons in the Quartz theme:

Grid icons can use an icon font or images. The grid exposes a number of CSS variables to control the icons. Each variable can optionally be suffixed with the name of a specific icon, and will affect only that icon, e.g. setting --ag-icon-font-color-loading sets the color of the "loading" icon.

Below you can see a list with all available icons for each provided theme. The name next to each icon is the CSS name, e.g. the pin icon will have the CSS class ag-icon-pin and uses the CSS variable --ag-icon-font-code-pin.

Once you are done inserting, you should see all the symbols in the formula bar. These icons may appear different in the actual spreadsheet cell depending on the font name the cell is set to. Simply change the font name to Segoe UI Symbol and the icons should appear the same as the Insert Symbol dialog box you were browsing.

Since downloadable fonts do not come installed natively through the Windows OS, any user wishing to view the icons used within the spreadsheet has to have the same icon font downloaded to their PC as well. This is where using non-native fonts can be tricky depending on your situation.

With the release of Windows 11, the Segoe Fluent Icons font will replace Segoe MDL2 Assets as the recommended symbol icon font. Segoe MDL2 Assets will still be available, but we recommend updating your app to use the new Segoe Fluent Icons.

Most of the icons included in the Segoe Fluent Icons font are mapped to the Private Use Area of Unicode (PUA). The PUA range is a non-standardized range of Unicode that allows font developers to define their own characters. This is useful when creating a symbol font, but it creates an interoperability problem when Segoe Fluent Icons is not available.

Icons in the Segoe Fluent Icons font are not intended for use in-line with text. This means that some older "tricks" like the progressive disclosure arrows no longer apply. Likewise, since all of the new icons are sized and positioned the same, they do not have to be made with zero width; we have made sure they work as a set.

Please keep in mind that the Segoe Fluent Icons font includes many more icons than we can show here. Many of the icons are intended for specialized purposes and are not typically used anywhere else.

Icon fonts are great, because they enable you to easily change color, size and more via CSS. They are scalable vector graphics, which means that they look great on high-resolution displays.

You can use scriptUrl as an array after @ant-design/icons@4.1.0, manage icons in one from multiple iconfont.cn resources. If icon with a duplicate name in resources, it will overridden in array order. 17dc91bb1f
