Who remembers the old Peter Paul and Mary song, Puff the Magic Dragon? I do! It was one of my favorite tunes when I was a little girl, not because of the story it tells because it is rather sad, but more so because it was easy to sing along with and conjured up images of friendliness in an otherwise large, scary creature. I mean, what child would not love to have a friendly dragon with whom to play?

Peter Yarrow wrote the song in 1958 before he joined the group. He wrote it after coming home and seeing a poem with words about the dragon. A few years later when this became a hit, Yarrow found Lipton and gave him half the songwriting credit. Lipton, who was a camp counselor when Yarrow found him, gets extensive royalties from this. Supposedly, Lipton based some of the words to his poem on an Ogden Nash poem called The Tale Of Custard The Dragon.

The premise of the game is that you need to find the last remaining dragon egg in order to save dragons from extinction. Of course the egg is hidden in an abandoned tower, deep in the dark forest which is rumoured to have belonged to a group of powerful sorcerers who studied both magic and science! Oh and you only have an hour. So not an easy task but with the help of our fellow teammates we did it!

Dragonsong and the second Pern book Dragonquest are set at the same time, seven years after the end of the seminal Dragonflight, during the Ninth Pass. Their primary geographical settings: Dragonsong in an isolated sea-hold and Dragonquest at the centers of Pernese society, the weyrs and major holds, especially Benden Weyr. Near the end of Dragonsong, the protagonist Menolly is rescued by a dragonrider, and the action converges with that of Dragonquest.

Menolly's absence is eventually noticed at Half-Circle Sea Hold, and the inhabitants wonder if she was killed by Thread. Elgion talks with her parents, and they conclude she is probably hiding in a cave along the Nerat coast, as she knows the area well. Two days after the Threadfall Menolly has not returned, and it is ultimately decided not to look for her. Elgion is unsatisfied with this, and manages to tell the dragonriders of the situation when N'ton arrives from Benden Weyr to ask him to search the coast for fire lizards, recently rediscovered on the Southern Continent.

Much later in the evening, Menolly is waiting for Robinton to return for his fire lizard egg. Oharan approaches her and asks her to sing with him, which she does. He then switches to one of her songs, and Robinton enters and asks she play for him, before inviting her to come back with him to the Harper Hall and become a harper.

Arranged for unchanged tenor voices, this traditional tall tale of a dragon slayer is quite comical, making it a fun story to sing. With accessible melodic ranges and plenty of unison singing, this bouncy rendition of "a tale of long ago" is an appropriate fall concert or festival selection.

In the churning white waters at the base of Fingap Falls, a long, graceful shape burst from the surface. Its skin caught and magnified the light of the moon. The sea dragon was easily twice the height of the tallest tree in Glipwood Forest. Its reddish body glimmered like a living fire. The head was crowned with two curved horns and its fins spread out behind it like wings. Indeed, it looked as if it might actually fly, but the dragon wheeled in the air and crashed into the sea with what must have been a sound like thunder but was inaudible over the constant roar of the waterfall.

The song continued, and more dragons exploded out of the water. They spun in the air and hung there for a moment before slamming back into the sea. Scores of horned bull dragons, amber and shimmering gold, swam circles around the thinner and more sleek mares that burst out of the water and over them in an intricate pattern. Now even the roar of Fingap Falls was not as loud as the crash of the many dragons into the Dark Sea. The strains of the song entwined and followed one another until a haunting melody emerged. Janner thought, as he thought every summer the dragons came, that there could be nothing more beautiful in all the world.

...sure, we have the theme song at the main menu for vanilla Skyrim- but I'm talking like, SUPER FORM theme song. How come characters like Natsu Dragneel, Naruto Uzumaki, OR literally Goku have super form theme songs?

It would encourage people to use this form more, because let's face it, not a lot of people go far into the game to get Dragon Aspect. If we were to make a theme song mod for this form, perhaps it'll allow more game-time for long-time users- like me!

Imagine being able to hear custom theme songs of YOUR own choice with the Dragon Aspect overhauls of changing colors, adding wings, or making the form stronger. This is something I really want, not just for myself- but perhaps other people too! A small tutorial on how to do it would be very nice as well.

The big advantage for Dragonsong is that Dragonfire procs from Crits and not on Bow Hit like with Reign of Winter. Therefore you have way more build freedom and can use a big arsenal of skills from Marksman to proc Dragonfire. The disadvantage is that you have to play close combat for high dmg because of the small cone. Reign of Winter you could play on range which is a saver playstyle, but this Dragonsong Build has way better survivability due to some mechanics with Cinder Strike/Arrowguard/Throne of Ambition we can abuse.

For a Marksman Build, Dragonsong could be S-Tier aswell. I still think that Shadow HoA is more powerful due to the gameplay mechanic. It allows a dodge based class like Marksman to stay at range and not get hit by enemies. Dragonsong allows you to deal dmg quicker and makes Monolith farming way more comfortable. But Shadow HoA is imo the real Marksman playstyle.

At Books 'N' Crannies, Janner asks Oskar N. Reteep, the proprietor of Books 'N' Crannies, why Sea Dragon songs make people act strange. Oskar tells him that there is unfortunately no explanation on why it happens. When the children hear the trumpets announcing that the games are starting, they quickly head to the games, which are all won by Tink.

The games are eventually interrupted by Mayor Blaggus with an announcement. He first acknowledges the presence of the Fangs before presenting Armulyn the Bard, who shocks everyone when he says "Fangs are ugly." He begins singing and playing a song on his Whistleharp about the Shining Isle of Anniera, which all the people present become moved by. The Fangs, however cringe and hiss at the music. As Armulyn continues playing his Whistleharp, the Blaggus boys come up to Tink and tell him that they have enough Sparkpowder to set off a Pop Rocket. Tink is amazed by this and follows them. When Janner realizes Tink is gone, he tells Leeli to stay while he gets Tink. When Janner finds Tink and tells him how he had to leave Leeli alone, listening to the songs. Tink asks Janner "what songs?" The boys then realize that Armulyn had finished singing and that Leeli was gone. Worried, they both go looking for her.

Leeli, admiring how Armulyn played and sang, went to talk with him. She tells him how his song made her want to laugh, sing and cry all at the same time, which Armulyn tells her that there can be a kind of magic in music. Leeli explains how she doesn't think there is any magic in her music, and she then asks Armulyn what his secret is. The bard tells her that some songs can make people feel homesick even when they're right at home. Their conversation is interrupted by the Blaggus boys' Pop Rocket, which Nugget is frightened by, and he runs off. Leeli apologizes to Armulyn and chases after Nugget.

The Igiby children, having gotten away from Slarb, go to rest at the cliffs. They can hear and see the Sea Dragons swimming in the sea just by the cliffs. Leeli suddenly begins singing Yurgen's Tune. As she sings, Yurgen emerges from the sea, and Tink sees an image depicting a Sea Dragon towering over a smaller Sea Dragon that was killed by a spear. Next to the larger dragon is the Holor and Holol. The image fades, and Tink can see his surroundings again. Yurgen wonders how Leeli knows the song. Janner hears Yurgen's thoughts and tells Tink. Yurgen asks Janner if he could understand him, but Janner is too confused to respond. Leeli's singing is eventually interrupted by Nia, who covers Leeli's mouth and tells her, "that's enough". Annoyed, Yurgen retreats back underwater. As Nia leads the children home, they tell her what had happened as Leeli sang, but Nia tells them to stop talking about it. ff782bc1db
