Kratos himself has always shown to be a wearer of immense strength, endurance, stamina and rage; being stronger than the strongest Olympians in Greek mythology such as Heracles, Poseidon, Thanatos, cyclops, titans and even his father Zeus, the king of Olympus, and never tiring himself out after relentless battles and surviving the deadliest blows (even escaping death at numerous times). Even before being explained in God of War III that the major source of his strength comes from the power of hope he acquired from Pandora's box in God of War (2005), Kratos had always since training in his childhood years with experienced Spartans stood out as the most powerful of all beings in Greece. Despite his godlike abilities, Kratos never usually starts a fight by himself. For example, he destroyed his living prison Aegaeon and killed the fury Megaera after she started beating him during his imprisonment, stumbled the titan Perses in self defense on his way up Mount Olympus and sought revenge against Zeus after he betrayed him. This is taken in reference if Kratos defeats a kombatant in which he simply walks away, and the opponent stands up and challenges Kratos again.

Intelligence: At least Gifted in combat (Stated to be Ancient Greece's most bloodthirsty warrior and the strongest warrior of all time, having even been the God of War for a time.[2] Has a history of fighting against gods and monsters, as demonstrated by the weapons he has appropriated of after killing them. Shao Kahn could not defeat him and several other kombatants have fallen under his rage[3])

" @Matezoide: Xd yes he doesnt have the strength but he does have the determinataion also the reason kratos had the upperhand against them is because he had the strength of hope while the gods were weakend by the plagues in pandoras box "

Many years after the events of God of War III, Kratos, having survived his apparent death from releasing the power of Hope in Greece, ends up in ancient Scandinavia in the Norse realm of Midgard and fathers a young son named Atreus, who is unaware of his true nature. Kratos has abandoned his double-chained blades as a symbolism of abandoning his old persona; instead, he uses a battle axe called the Leviathan Axe that originally belonged to his second wife and Atreus's mother, Laufey (called Faye by Kratos), who recently passed. Her last wish was for her ashes to be spread at the highest peak of the nine realms. At Midgard's peak, they learn from Mmir that the highest peak is actually in Jtunheim. Along their journey, they are confronted by the sir god Baldur, the brother of Thor, whose sons Modi and Magni assist their uncle but are killed by Kratos and Atreus. Around this time, Atreus falls ill. To cure him, Kratos must recover his old weapons, the Blades of Chaos, in order to battle the beings of Helheim as the Leviathan Axe is useless there as it inflicts frost damage. While retrieving the blades, Athena appears and goads him about his past. Kratos journeys to Hel and retrieves the cure by killing the troll that guards the realm. After curing him, Kratos reveals to Atreus that he is a god. The pair also receives assistance from a witch, later revealed to be the Vanir goddess Freya, the mother of Baldur, who had cast a spell of immortality on him that protects him but also causes him to no longer feel anything physically, which he resented her for.

"Hell," he added in a tweet that seems to have been removed (but immortalised by Kotaku), "I think Kratos should reach out and pull the f***ing MK Classic narrator into the game and gut the f***er. Oh, or rip the head off." e24fc04721
