Deepest Sword is a free mobile adventure game from developer Fantastic Gamevers. It's a 2D physics-based action platformer wherein players will take on the role of a brave knight. They will dive deep into a dungeon in order to slay a dragon by piercing their sword straight into the creature's heart.

Enter your trusty giant sword, which just so happens, is able to extend itself. Handling it will be unwieldy, but it actually works itself out as you can't jump in the game at all. This is where the physics aspect of the game comes in. You'll rely on the momentum of your sword swings to propel yourself over obstacles and platforms to reach the dragon at the end.

You also have to contend with how much you need to extend the length of your sword. Too short, and you won't reach the dragon's heart. Too long will make it more challenging to gauge your swings and get around. And because of your sword's new size, you might need to take a different path to get through the earlier sections. Shout-Out: One of the secret achievements is labeled "Getting... Over It". Some Dexterity Required: You're unable to jump, so similarly to the hammer in Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, you have to swing your sword around to reach platforms. It quickly becomes so large that it's impossible to simply drag it behind you, and you have to constantly pivot it around. Stealth Pun: An unspoken Double Entendre in a game full of them is that your reason for "slaying" the dragon is "getting some pussy"... cat. You start the game with a tiny little sword which is pretty maneuverable, but only useful for helping you climb small heights and hopeless for actually slaying the dragon. But each time you fail to slay the dragon (and are burned to a cinder for your troubles), you are given a bigger sword, a new section is added to the course and you get to try again. Eventually you may even end up with a big enough sword to slay the dragon!
