So i was going through a recent post on this subreddit and found that bluestacks was supposed to launch an update today with a fix for CoC black screen issue. To my surprise, the update was actually available and now I can play clash of clans from playstore. No more black screen!

I just updated my clash of clans and after the update, the game isnt loading and is stuck on a black screen. Iv tried reinstalling clash of clans and then bluestacks [X and 5] itself but its still stuck.

Until these last 1-2 updates 90% of my COC playing time was done in a laptop using bluestacks, it seems like it doesnt work anymore even using the amazon app.

Is there any other way to play that 100% works?

Ive tried other emulators, Bluestacks 4-5-10, no idea what else i could try.. i basically stopped playing because of this :S

@clashofclans Game does not work after new update on bluestacks which is what me and my friend primarily play on. Hope you fix this issue soon as it is preventing many from accessing the holiday content.

hey i get a totally different screen from what i see in the tutorial. and when i go to the google play app store and start installing clash of clans, it says the device isnt compatible to install the app. help!!!!!!! so close!

My clan hall is still pretty low and before I put too much work/effort into this game I just wanted to know if you can join clans once the clan hall is built. Thanks.

i tried to install bluestacks and followed exactly what you said.. Everything worked well up to the point where I tried to run coc.. I can only hear the startup sound and the sounds related to the tutorial but I cannot see a thing.. I really want to play coc on my laptop.. ?

I am trying to get rid of the need to dual boot Ubuntu and windows and one thing I can do with windows I can not do with Linux is to run Bluestacks to play android games my favourite one ow is clash of clans. I have tried different VM's to run android emulators and virtual box but nothing works for clash of clans I can download the game to the VM from Google Play Store but it fails to open
