Just forgot to do the back up of the WhatsApp separately but I still have the back up from the Icloud. I could see that I had the backup of 1.93GB but i have got the message "Couldn't restore chat history".

My problem was when I was doing the back up for the first time in my new Iphone I thought that the whasapp app was stocked because all the another apps it was alright, So I just have cancel and did the download again. So after that I had the message of error.

Download Chat History Whatsapp

DOWNLOAD 🔥 https://urllie.com/2y4P3A 🔥

But in this time I didn't cancel the automatic download of the Whastapp. Really take a long time to finish, just have done it before go to sleep and when a woke up everything was working with all the media and chats from the whatsapp (just have lost the message from the last couple of days).

I'm switching phones (from Huawei p smart 2021 to s23) and I tried using transfer chat history option, but it doesn't work First time when I tried it showed on my s23 "connect to internet to transfer" and I was connected to wifi AND mobile data. I tried rebooting both devices but same message appeared. And after enough tries now I don't even have the option to transfer chats when I try to set up whatsapp on my s23 (tried reinstalling multiple times). So how do I transfer chat history to my new phone? Thanks for help! Also some details: S23 running Android 13 P smart 2021 running Android 10 (no Google play services) Both phones running latest version of whatsapp Both phones were connected to the same wifi network and were physically close to each other

EDIT: Seems like many people are facing this issue as well, judging from the comments being left months after I posted this post. Unfortunately like many others I did not manage to find a solution, and I had to give up all my chats from the last ~10 years just to get my WhatsApp to work again. It sucks to lose them, but after a while I stopped being sad about it and just went about with my life. Hopefully a solution may be found one day.

I need a quick and elegant solution, too, as I'll need to process huge chat files with thousands of messages. So, of course, I could loop through and merge lines based on whether they have date/time/username stamps, but that takes a whole lot of time on a big file.

Thanks for your response, the cloud backup option only works when staying on the same platform and is not supported when switching from Apple to Android as Android cannot access iCloud where the Whatsapp backup is stored.

I followed the official guide stated in this thread, the qr does appear and data transfers seems succesful up to the point where I should open WhatsApp and load the history by logging in with my phone number. It loads groups but the threads are empty.

The only thing that pops to mind are small interruptions during the process that causes whatsapp to close during the whole transfer. I once had whatsapp run into the maximum time limit that I had set earlier. Also definitely make sure your Iphone screen stays on all the time (turn off the option that locks the screen at inactivity)

Make sure your wifi is stable, that sort of things. I did a backup of all chats in txt format as well.

Forget about the frustration of not knowing how to see the WhatsApp chat history of others. With a monitoring app like mSpy at your disposal, you can get answers to what is happening in their chats.

To dive even deeper, mSpy allows you to view web history, block apps and sites, see everything they type (hello keylogger), view screenshots of their activity, and get alerted when they type something controversial.

If you want to check their messages on WhatsApp only, then you can try accessing them from the chat backup or desktop app. For those who want to go beyond WhatsApp tracking, mSpy offers a wide set of incredible features to explore.

Your data will be fully encrypted while being transferred, Meta said. The company's focus on WhatsApp security has seen it introduce a number of new features over the past few months, including automatically silencing unknown callers and locking away your more intimate chats for extra privacy.

Did your WhatsApp chats get deleted? WhatsApp chats history can be lost if you change your device or delete it by mistake. Whatever may be the reason, the good news is there is a way to retrieve them. WhatsApp is one of the most widely used applications and users send billions of messages including images, audio, video, GIFs, among others every day to the people on their contact list. You can know that these messages are delivered to users' phones and WhatsApp promptly deletes them from the company's servers.

If you have lost your WhatsApp chats and want to restore the history then you can try the following methods. However, in case you want to restore your conversation on a new Android device then you need to ensure that your chats are backed up before restoring them. In order to take the chat backup you need to open WhatsApp, go to more settings, select chat and then chat backup.

Also, choose the Google Account that you want your chats backed up to. You can also create a local backup on your device. Then tap back up. After the backup has been saved, you can remove WhatsApp from your device and install it on your new Android device.

To maintain a copy of your WhatsApp chat history on Google Drive, you can enable the automatic backup feature and select its frequency as daily, weekly, or monthly. In order to successfully restore a Google Drive backup, you need to use the same phone number and Google Account used to create the backup.

You need to ensure that your new Android device is linked to the Google Account where your backup is saved. Install and open WhatsApp, then verify your number. Tap RESTORE when prompted to restore your chats and media from Google Drive. After the restoration process is complete, tap NEXT. Your chats will be displayed once initialization is complete.

It can be noted that WhatsApp will continue to restore your media files after your chats are restored. If you install WhatsApp without any prior backups from Google Drive, WhatsApp will automatically restore from your local backup file.

Download a file manager app. In the file manager app, navigate to your local storage or sdcard > WhatsApp > Databases. If your data is not stored on an SD card, you might see "internal storage" or "main storage" instead. Copy the most recent backup file to the local storage's Databases folder of your new device. Then Install and open WhatsApp, then verify your number. Tap RESTORE when prompted to restore your chats and media from the local backup.

Switching to a new phone can be a daunting experience, especially if you are moving to a completely different operating system. We want to make this process easier, so with the recent Android 12 release, we added the ability to transfer all your essentials by connecting your iPhone with your new Android phone using a cable. With your permission, Android automatically matches and installs the same apps from Google Play, and lets you easily bring your SMS and iMessage history with you, along with photos, videos, contacts, calendars and more.

1) Backup ./WhatsApp/Databases/msgstore.db.crypt12

2) backup /WhatsApp/Media folder

3) Install whatsapp on new phone

4) Copy backup to new phone in ./WhatsApp/Databases/msgstore.db.crypt12

5) Copy Media folder to ./WhatsApp/Media

6) login to whatsapp

Aside:

- Whatsapp was one app which was mentioned wouldn't move during the Smart Switch (others didn't and was no mention)

- Did the whatsapp Local Backup Manually before doing the switch and having it running daily. The Whatsapp local backup; just makes a copy of the current msgstore.db.crypt12with a date added wihtin the file name

- I did sucessully migrate Whatsapp successfully 2 years ago when I moved from a Pixel2 to S10+ (steps don't apply this time though)
