In the Battle of the Beasts series, the main protagonist, Tom, starts a training camp where he invites some people who have performed heroic acts to help protect Avantia from evil. Each book has a different hero who uses a different beast to defeat a controlled beast.

Tom has a magical shield equipped with six items which were given to him by the Good Beasts of Avantia. Created from the Tree of Being, it has on many occasions protected him with its magical powers. On some occasions, its powers were removed but after the quest was completed, they were restored back. He earned the shield as a protective object against his first quest against Ferno and received six tokens at the end. Since then, he has used it as his primary method of defence. Tom has a belt which was once worn by Torgor, given to him after the defeat of the Beast. The belt has six jewels slotted in it, each bestowing the user different powers. The jewels were won on Tom and Elenna's quest to Gorgonia. After defeating each of the six Evil Beasts of the kingdom, Tom received a magic jewel from them. Taladon (also known as Taladon the Swift) was one of Avantia's Masters of the Beasts and father of his successor to the role, Tom. Taladon earnt the role following the defeat of Magror and Malvel in Gorgonia in his youth, and despite having no formal battle training or past as a warrior, was instantly given the title with the permission of Sir Lennard, who he took over from. Taladon was the Master of the Beasts for many decades, taking on many quests and opponents. Following defeat at the hands of Malvel, he was magically bound for ten years in Gorgonia, leaving Avantia without a Master of the Beasts. Aunt Maria is Tom's aunt and is Henry's wife. Known for her compassionate nature and skill in various arts, Maria is highly supportive of Tom and his quests. Maria's ability to cook is well known throughout Avantia, with her cherry pie being enjoyed by even King Hugo and Queen Aroha as one of the best dishes in the kingdom. Elenna is a main character and much like Tom in her determination and good nature. She is slightly rougher due to her harsh upbringing, and is fiercely protective of her wolf, Silver. She finds it hard to trust people who Silver doesn't, and was in great distress when he briefly turned into an evil beast. Elenna wants to do what is right, and is great friends with Tom, appearing in all of his adventures. She also appears to be somewhat the brains behind Tom's beast quest, as her intelligence and idea creativity seems to be a bit better then Tom's. Daltec is Aduro's former apprentice and the current wizard of Avantia after his master's powers were drained away by the Judge, Jezrin. He is shown to be a good friend of Tom and Elenna's and one of their most reliable allies. While initially a poor magic-user, Aduro continued to train him to take his place properly, and he quickly progressed to becoming a full wizard. Beast Quest is a fantasy action and adventure series by Adam Blade. The series is set in the kingdom of Avantia as the villain Malvel bends the will of the ancient beasts to suit his evil plans. The main protagonist is Tom, a young boy trying to free the beasts and save Avantia with the help of his best friend, Elenna.

ds is 6 and in P2 (scotland) and loves beast quest we are on book 26 i think. I read a chapter each night, he reads a page of each chapter and manages to work most of the words apart from tough ones, chapter books are a bit much for him atm. He is on ORT level 7.

Epic Beast Quest is a Story Quest in Bloons TD 6, added in Version 36.0 alongside the Beast Handler.
