In channel meetings, the attendance report is available only for the most recent meeting from the channel, but you can go to the meeting invite page in Teams calendar for all channel meeting attendance reports.

The tile Attendance is not supported for channel meeting. To view the attendance reports for meetings created in channels, click More actions > View meeting details, and navigate to the Attendance tab.

In meetings with more than 120 participants, the attendance report that's available during the meeting will only include a partial list of attendees. The post-meeting report will contain the full list.

If a channel meeting is in progress and someone starts a second meeting within the same channel conversation, an attendance report will be available only for the second meeting. You can go to the Attendance tab in the Teams calendar invite for all channel meeting attendance reports.

View attendance reports directly in the Microsoft Teams mobile app to gain insight into your meetings and webinars. See webinar registration data, times that attendees joined and left meetings, and much more.

Participants can decide whether they want their information shown in attendance reports by going to Settings > Privacy > Attendance report data in Teams and turning the Identify me in attendance reports toggle on or off.

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) collects attendance for all students in a school, regardless of age, to complete required reporting and for various accountability uses. OSSE is required to publicly report on the state of attendance annually, and this report satisfies that statutory obligation.

This report includes several indicators that reflect attendance information collected on March 1st and at the end of the selected school year for students in grades PK-12. Click a district or school name to view its detailed report. More about the data.

NOTE: This is a revised Attendance Report and now includes student group data. For attendance data reported in previous years, please see

Is there a way to run a report so I can see if I forgot to take attendance for any of our calendar events? Also, is there a way to run an attendance report for individual scouts?

Other than running attendance, export to excel and manipulate the file there>

Also, how do I take attendance for PLC meetings?

If your course has New Analytics enabled, you can view an Online Attendance report. This report is based on criteria that has been selected by your institution. Your institution can select from the following criteria:

You can filter the report by student, section, date, and criteria status. You can also select which days of the week your class is in session and when students are expected to meet attendance criteria.

If a student has met online attendance criteria for a given date, the date displays a Checkmark icon [6]. If a student has not met online attendance criteria for a given date, the date displays a X icon [7].

I host a number of daily Google Meet sessions and most times the attendance report shows the title of the meeting (for example "Google Slides Live Training"). Suddenly, beginning in January 2022, the attendance reports no longer show the meeting title, but rather show the 10 digit character set that follows meet.google.com/ "jjh-bkav-dmd" for example. Because of this, I have to immediately attend to this email and re-title the spreadsheet to reflect the correct meeting name. Having 5-10 per day, its a nuance I'm hoping to receive a solution to. I tried making sure I was the first person to log into the meeting, no difference. Couldn't find any info online. Is this something I did incorrectly while setting up the meetings?

To provide more info in case it's needed: These are published events, so not recurring. The meeting Titles haven't changed (I use the duplicate feature). The attendance reports now come in various characters "GZDTCEDSNA", "OPTIWTEOXH", "JJHBKAVDMD" as examples. Looking back at my email history, these characters showed up from time to time when people would join the meeting at the wrong time. Now its 100% of the time. Please help, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. @AndrewB @icrew @KAM

For the last couple of years, I've had no problems pulling up an attendance report for any meetings I've hosted. But since June, they've been coming up blank. It hasn't been a huge deal, because I can usually get it from the audio, but when meetings have a large number of attendees, I'd rather not to have to deal with that. I tried saving it a few different ways to see if it made a difference, and it doesn't. In fact, it says that there's no data found in the first place. And yes, I'm the host. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Where are you going to pull your reports today? I ask because with Webex updates in recent months, you can go to your attendance reports by selecting the meeting itself in your list of Completed meetings and it should have a list of the attendees as soon as you select on the meeting, and from there, you can export that report. You shouldn't have to go to My reports anymore.

Problem solved! Thank you! Honestly, I've never even noticed the "Completed" tab next to "Upcoming." I've always accessed what I needed by clicking "Recordings" or "My Reports." You guys should get rid of My Reports! I downloaded that blank attendance list, like, 4 times! Thanks so much for your help.

During the meeting or event, organizers can find the attendance report in the People > Participants pane of the meeting. After the meeting or event ends, organizers can view and download the attendance and engagement report under the Attendance tab of the invite. Organizers can also access the attendance report through the meeting or event's chat. To learn more about how meeting and event organizers can view and download the attendance and engagement report, see Manage meeting attendance reports in Microsoft Teams.

For education tenants, the attendance and engagement report can be used to track student attendance and engagement in online classes. For example, a teacher can download the attendance report at the start of class as a simple way to do a roll call. If the teacher has a Teams Premium license, they can also use the engagement report to see how many students reacted, raised their hand, unmuted, interacted with Q&A and turned on their cameras during the online class.

Is there a way of generating attendance reports on a per student basis across all currently enrolled courses. Right now the only way of doing it seems to be to go into all courses individually, collate the data in one place and analyze. What I'm trying to get to is a high-level per-student overview of attendance, say between certain dates (since there's no way of defining semesters in moodle).

I'm working on the same issue, if you have access to the database then the only way to create reports is by writing an SQL query but still the structure of the auto_attend module in the database is not very helpful and the documentation is poor. Would be great if someone could provide us with documentation on the database table fields and their description. : )

Here is a block we use to collect attendance data from all courses on the site. It produces an excel file that lists course by course absences based on the attendance taking by teachers using the Attendance module. For each absence, the date of the absence is inserted into the grid. The students' number and name are listed within each course participants list, so it is not a report per student as you are looking for. But with some modification, it may give you what you want.

We are looking to add this form of reporting as well. Has anyone made progress generating a report for an individual? It would also be great if we could generate a report for all the courses a cohort is enrolled in. Or a report for an individual within a category of courses.

Hi, I too need the same consolidated view of report of per student across all courses. If anyone have worked on this it will be a great help for our institution in segregating students based on their aggregate percentage.. Awaiting replies... and Awaiting Updated plugin....

I use the Configurable Reports block and create custom reports based on whatever I need (not dependent on a particular activity). It does require someone to write SQL reports but they're pretty helpful once you have them and there are several pre-written reports available in the community.

Hi Melanie, I am brand new to Moodle, but well versed with SQL and PHP. I have been asked to create an automatic export of our attendance that will be emailed to Student Advisors on a weekly basis so they can reach out to students who are missing classes. Would you happen to know where the pre-written reports you mentioned are? I have been looking around the Moodle forums, but haven't seen anything that comes close to what I need. I can certainly write them myself, but having a starting point would be helpful. Thank you! 2351a5e196
