Hi all, we recently started using LastPass to manage our family passwords, and I was shocked to find there was no Fire Stick app. I was even more shocked when I found out that Fire Stick doesn't seem to support the use of any password managers at all. Is this right? Has anyone had any experience successfully using a password manager with a fire stick, or do I just have to copy passwords from my phone to my TV?

I am running a new install of Ubuntu 18.10 on Wayland. I recently installed the Polo file manager and it has made itself the default file manager. However I prefer Nautilus to be the default when I plug in a USB-Stick.

The problem was indeed the Polo file manager and that is also the solution. In the Polo file manager, I went to Setup and then General and then you can choose underFile Manager either Files, Polo or Disc Usage Analyser.

The only good solution would be to create special portable edition. That way you could just unzip the program onto USB stick and it would be pre-configured to make sure data is also stored on USB stick.

I did not find an answer to my question in the Bitwarden Help Center.

I want to keep my login data locally on a USB stick and not sync it with the cloud or anywhere. I am not technically experienced to make a self-server. Can I still use BitWarden free?

As USB sticks like to die without a warning make sure to have your data not only on a single USB stick. Also: Make regular backups. I personally would use at least 3 devices; preferably different models and/or from different manufacturers.

When plugging in the USB stick, the light on the stick starts to flash, plus the USB stick is listed on the Devices Manager screen, its properties can be viewed. The stick is detected as USB stick, but it is not seen as storage disk (not mounted).

If you had time, skills and resources, you might be able to disassemble it, identify the faults and repair or replace the faulty components. This would probably cost more than purchasing a hatfull of new USB sticks.

Sure, I know... The question was if it's somehow possible to sort performances at home and to transfer the sorted performances or the sorting itself via USB stick to the Kemper which is already "on stage"

When I start up profiler, connected to computer, and rig manager launched, it says to update my profiler. I have 5.0.3

In rig manager I click on check for software updates, and it says this software is up to date.

It shows up under the main rig manager heading for me, not under help.

Does the Kemper show up in the Rig Manager? If not you may have a driver issue which means basically uninstalling the driver from your devices manager (if you're on a PC), then un/reinstalling rig manager. Hopefully then when you plug it in it will show up in the rig manager and it should be able to update it for you.

So, I just quit rig manager, and restarted. Got a message about updating rig manager, and did. Now it's 2.1.41.

I then got a message that the usb connection between rig manager and profiler was unstable.

This is one: If I plug-in a USB stick it is recognized according to /var/log/messages but the device manager in KDE does not pop up and does not offer to show the device in Dolphin etc. as this was in the past.

I contacted the seller of my stick. He advised that, the FA Pro stick is made to work only with Piaware and a Raspi 3.
