The chorus, "Gone away, Put up yo lighter fi yo friends dem weh past away," immediately establishes the theme of loss and paying tribute to those who have passed on. The repetition of "gone away" emphasizes the finality of death, and the use of the Jamaican patois adds cultural depth and authenticity to the lyrics.

In the first verse, Alkaline describes the shock and devastation that comes with witnessing the death of a loved one. The lyrics evoke a strong emotional response as they describe the image of the deceased laid in a coffin and lowered into a grave. The artist's rhetorical question, "Mi really waan fi know a weh yo gone," expresses the confusion and desire for understanding that often accompanies grief. Despite the pain of loss, the artist acknowledges the need to carry on with life, saying, "Miss you but mi haffi carry on."

The chorus is repeated throughout the song, serving as a cathartic release and a call for remembrance and celebration of those who have passed away. The repetition further emphasizes the singer's longing and mourning for the departed, while the inclusion of the line "Mi feel it fi yuh cause wi just a reason wa day" showcases the artist's personal connection and empathy for the deceased. Despite the pain, there is an acknowledgment of the importance of honoring and remembering those who are no longer with us.

All dressings have vinegar or tomato products in them. When I eat a salad, I take a bite of the salad, chew it up and then I take a drink of almond milk and swish it around my mouth and then swallow. Almond milk is alkaline so my thinking is it will neutralize the acid in the dressing. Maybe it works, I'll find out next year when I have my EGD for BE done.

Q. I have experienced this in finished products in an alkaline zinc line, across the entire part.

While my cause doesn't appear to be related to previous posters here which appears to be being caused pre or during plate, my issue was being caused post-plate.

If parts are left to sit in a rinse tank after the plating tank without first properly rinsing, the sodium hydroxide appears to slowly rinse itself downwards causing the vertical streaks in finished productsĀ

Often I may have three racks of parts to finish and I used to let them dwell in the 1st rinse tank while I finish and chromate and dry each set of jobs separately. Too long however appears to cause streaks so instead I rinse first, run them through the nitric tank and then sit them inside the post nitric rinse tank.

A. Boris ,

The streaking down stain, try to add in alkaline zinc tank purifier, conditioner and wetter. if you have oil in bath it worsens the run down streaking stain problem. Run Hull Cell panel to if you can duplicate the problem.

Q. Good day PopatbhaiĀ

I have a newly made bath at the moment. 10g/l Zn NaOH 102g/l. Hull cell shows dark gray streaking that appears to clear out with extended dip in the nitric.

Brightener is on the lower end of the spec (1.5%), spec is 1.5-2%. Adding more brightener in hull cell doesn't appear to help.Ā

As the black streaks tend to go away in Nitric dip, it would mean it's not a containment as contaminants generally don't go away in the Nitric dip.

Running 1A - 5 Minute tests.

Q. We have two 2100 gallon alkali zinc plating tanks that have been on line for 1 1/2 years. We have had to dump a portion of both tanks (1/2 tank at a time) due to a run-down streaking problem on the parts. We have experimented with different variations of running the parts with no success. After dumping the tanks and making them back up the problem has gone away. Our chemical supplier claims they have never seen this type of problem and has offered no solution to the problem, other than dumping the solution. We were wondering if this problem could be related to a break-down of the brightener system? We have tried carbon treatment, along with hydrogen peroxide with no success. We are considering switching to another chemical supplier, but are not sure if this will cure the problem. Has anyone ever encountered this type of problem, and is there a way to treat the solution other than dumping the solution?

We have been using alkaline Zinc and we have a problem of vertical black lines in the LCD areas particularly. This is generally resolved by adding more NaOH to the bath than what is recommended . Is this what you mean by run down streaking ?

I installed the majority of the tiles during a dry weather period. However, before grouting there was a significant rain event. Afterwards, I noticed brown stains forming around all the edges of the newly installed stone tiles. The stain would wash away when wet but return when the surface dried. It grew worse and worse and spread throughout the whole surface of the stones with each successive rain.

From my research, I believe that what I am experiencing is a stain from alkaline water reacting with some chemical residue in the stone from the quarrying process. That residue is leaching out to the surface. I was hoping that in time the stain would dissipate, however , the patio retains water at the edges, and though the staining pattern continually shifts, there are still substantial stains remaining to date. The owners and I agreed to wait until late spring 2020 to see if the problem gets resolved on its own.

A: The corneas regained their normal thicknesses, no obvious corneal edema and untidy arrangement of the collagen fibers was observed in Group A (HE100); B: The corneal epithelium in the burned areas was gone in Group B (HE100).

The current treatment for early stage of alkaline burned cornea includes washing out the chemicals and removing the necrotic tissues as soon as we can. In addition, we have performed the symptomatic treatment such as washing the conjunctival sac, a subconjunctival injection of vitamin C, and paracentesis in the anterior chamber. Amniotic membrane transplantation, limbal stem cell implantation, and lamellar or therapeutic penetrating keratoplasty can be applied when appropriate. However, most corneal grafts have shown vascularization or continuous dissolution. The pathological characteristics of early corneal alkaline burns are tissue ischemia and necrosis as well as constant infiltration of inflammatory cells, which results in excessive immune responses against cornea-specific proteins. Therefore, corneal impairments are aggravated over time with severe complications[12]. If the injured corneal tissues were removed by surgery at the early stage of chemical burn and the ocular surface was reconstructed to prevent invasion of the toxic substances and inflammatory cells, the excessive immune responses against cornea-specific proteins and complications including neovascularization and corneal dissolution would be away from cornea. Therefore, it is very important to surgically remove the necrotic tissues and toxic substances at the early stage of corneal alkaline burns to protect the cornea, which plays a critical role in preventing or reducing the long-term complications caused by corneal alkaline burns and retains the visual function of the injured eyes.

Dastjerdi et al[19] demonstrates that bevacizumab can penetrate the neovascularized cornea through topical application, in addition subconjunctivally injected bevacizumab can penetrate into the corneal stroma with an intact cornea. Dastjerdi et al[20] have reported that subconjunctival injection of bevacizumab may offer therapies in preventing graft rejection in high-risk corneal transplantation. We have studied the inhibition of neovascularization after corneal alkaline burns[12],[21] and achieved the good results. In this study, we applied VisuMax femtosecond laser-assisted deep lamellar keratoplasty to treat the early stage of corneal chemicals burns. The injured cornea was removed to prevent further impairment to the surrounding and inner tissues and reduce even prevent complications such as corneal dissolution. Meanwhile, the surgery can block the pathways of excessive immune responses against the corneal-specific proteins and block neovascularization invasion. It can enhance the corneal epithelialization and maintain the normal corneal structure and function. Our results suggested that the corneal grafts in Group A matched well without obvious edema.

Viljoen: The benefit of PEM when compared with alkaline electrolysis is because of the PGM component in PEM electrolysis. Because of the catalytic characteristics of PGM metals, the process stabilises faster at start-up, and then the efficiency of the process throughout is much higher than in alkaline electrolysis. When you think specifically of PEM matching renewables, and we all know that renewables are cyclic, that is where PEM plays a very specific role and where the efficiency of PEM electrolysis totally surpasses alkaline electrolysis, specifically in the application around renewable energy, which is required for green hydrogen production. 17dc91bb1f
