You do mention here that the new current Adobe Reader version is 22.002.20212

But when I try to download it from Adobe here, it only shows version 22.002.20191 which is the previous version.

Looks like Adobe is slow and has not updated their new download file.

I have 32-bit reader on my PCs which are not connected to net. When I download the adobe from get.adobe.com/reader/ it wants to connects to internet. in the setup folder there are no files which I can use to install on remote PCs.

Latest version forces me to register for distribution of Adobe software. Fair enough, I requested access to the Reader, got one email to confirm my details, then another one which should contain link to the .exe installer. Sadly the URL in "To download the English language version of Adobe Reader 9 with Acrobat.com in compressed .exe format, click here." redirects to this address:

I faced a similar issue on my site. Adobe's distribution process has changed. To resolve, visit Adobe's official distribution page after approval. Input credentials, choose the product language, and download the offline installer. The process ensures compliance with Adobe's new distribution policies for bulk installations on company PCs.

Having a hell of a time figuring out which installer to use for a 64 bit adobe reader deployment via intune win32 app. I located a good process at =TVAADl2J65Y for the 32 bit version, but I cant find an offline 64 bit installer that will let me extract the MSI from it.

To install Adobe Reader using MSI files, you need to download offline installer for Adobe reader from here Adobe Reader Enterprise. After Downloading, unzip de exe file with 7zip or WinRAR. Inside of folder, you will also find the msi file. You need to use the entire folder for installation, not only MSI installer.

I think i figured it out. The English US language selection does not give you a 64 bit DL. Unfortunately, I had to use the all languages MUI installer which is twice the size of the 32 bit version i first attempted. It works, but 1GB for an intune app... welcome to adobe enterprise standards i guess.

Hello,

After downloading the offline installer of Adobe Reader DC x64 (exe file) and extract its contents with 7zip, you get several files, including a msi and msp. But that standalone msi file is not the latest version of Reader DC, hence the msp file which probably contains the updates. However, I can only load a msi file in Intune, so how do I get a single msi files that corresponds to the latest version of Adobe Reader DC ?

Step 4

Use the files to create a package. I'm installing the up-to-date .msp with the msi (see here). Note that the msi is called acropro.msi but contains the reader. The msi can be executed like this:

Hi, I'm not sure about autopilot. But I usually deploy MSI packages in Intune using a win32 application though I wrap the application/installer in a powershell app deployment package. (example: -app-packaging-a-beginners-guide-part-1-win32/).

But you can also use a simple powershell script to start the installation -to-deploy-an-msi-using-powershell-script-and-intune/

Either way you add all the files to a directory (including the powershell script/batch script/PADT script), create the .intunewin file using IntuneWinAppUtil (you can download that from Microsoft), add a win32application to intune which executes the script you wrote and use the msi guid as dectection rule.

I store my valuable PDF files for reading on my home NAS drive. When I wake my netbook up, the file I had been reading before going to sleep goes offline even though it is accessible. The pages of the PDF are blank until I re-open the file.

As far as I know, Windows doesn't ask you for your permission and cuts network access all the time when the computer goes to sleep. Whether the PDF reading app keeps it in memory when it stops being accessible, and whether/how it reloads it when the connection is back, this all depends on the PDF app only, I believe.

So if you find nothing related to this in Acrobat settings, try a few other PDF reader apps. Adobe Reader, Adobe Reader add-in for Firefox, the integrated PDF reader in Google Chrome and Nitro PDF are some I can think off.

If they all have this annoying behaviour, there's a simple solution: run away from the problem by telling your computer not to sleep, but to only turn the screen off. That shouldn't give you any issues.

All I did was copy-paste the .ttf files into C:\Windows\Fonts and they appeared in Adobe PDF after restarting the program. No Adobe Cloud, no Oleg Sidarenko, no opening 'File' this or 'Options' that, nothing. Just copy-paste and done.

If your on windows and have access to your fonts library through the control or command center you can simply find a free download of the font that you need and copy them into your fonts library. restart adobe and you should have the new fonts

Forget all the broken-record advice about Adobe Cloud from the gimps here, just scroll down to the post by Oleg Sidarenko in the above link and follow his directions. Managed to add fonts to DC (that had previously been installed to Windows) manually.

What people are asking--and I've run into this myself--is that you can install otf/ttf fonts in Windows and they will NOT be accessible in Acrobat DC. If you're trying to repair a document from someone else, that uses a given font and you can't find it via DC for either the File-Print to Adobe PDF--edit method, or the Preflight method, then you can't do the work.

It is a bit tricky.

1. The font which you want to activate using the Adobe CC app can be previewed in the font tab of the adobe application which you are using. *When the font is not available for editing it just shows the name.

2. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud app and go to the fonts tab.

3. Enter the font you wish to activate in the search tab.

4. You will be redirected to a page in the web browser. Just double-click the font and then click on the active tab on the top right-hand side.

5. Restart the Adobe application to use and edit.

I also have this issue and would very much like it resolved. I have tried to recommended items and the font is on my adobe creative and my machine but the pdf editor refuses to offer or use it. This is such a huge pain and may mean I completely change the font of the document which is extremely frustrating. 152ee80cbc
