DuoSpeak is a bilingual language exchange project that connects students from different countries to practice speaking in real-time, peer-to-peer conversations. In each weekly 1-hour session, participants speak for 30 minutes in Spanish and 30 minutes in the partner country's language, building their fluency, confidence, and intercultural communication skills.
The program began as a pilot between Brazilian and Bolivian students and was inspired by insights gained through the Aspire Leaders Program, founded by professors from Harvard University. Its long-term vision is to expand globally, creating a network of young learners who connect through language, empathy, and shared learning.
To empower language learners through authentic, bilingual conversation exchanges that build fluency, confidence, and intercultural understanding—starting locally, growing globally.
A world where students from diverse backgrounds connect across borders to learn languages, celebrate cultures, and become confident global communicators—one conversation at a time.
