Peer Instructor - Interdisciplinary Studies (8/22-5/23)
As a peer instructor I gained valuable communication and leadership experience as a co-instructor for the Thriving in College and Success in College courses at Illinois State University. During this time, I prepared lesson plans, facilitated discussions, and monitored student performance to ensure students comprehended the necessary knowledge to increase their academic performance while at Illinois State.
Sigma Chi Fraternity - Public Relations, Community Service, and Assistant Recruitment Chair (5/23-Now)
During my time at the Sigma Chi Fraternity, I sharpened my leadership skills significantly. As the Public Relations Chair, I managed the website and the fraternity's social platforms. During my time in this position, I have increased social media engagement by 35%. As the Community Service Chair, I coordinated multiple events leading to a 35% increase in organizational commitment to the local community. As I step into the role of assistant recruitment chair, I am excited to bring my ideas and expertise to the recruitment process to increase the quality and quantity of our future members.
