Douglas N. Hornsby, MD

A North Bay Village, Florida-based radiologist and military veteran, Douglas N. Hornsby, MD, served as a combat medic with the US Army from 1967 to 1973, during which time he received several awards for valor including the Silver Star, Bronze Star with V device and Air Medal with V Device. Douglas N. Hornsby, MD, founded Helping Hands Nursing, Inc., in 1979 and grew the at-home nursing company for hospice patients to feature 16 offices across six states before selling it in 1991.
