I have been PI or co-PI on over a dozen National Science Foundation grants, starting from curriculum development work in 2003. For some of these I had a purely administrative role, but those listed on the Grants page are ones that I led or contributed to in a substantial way.
I have been involved in many curriculum development projects, including writing a textbook on Discrete Mathematics, creating a course on the History of Mathematics, revamping a Combinatorics course, creating a first-year seminar for mathematics, and designing a data science minor.
Ten years of my professional work literally disappeared when Adobe Flash fell off the planet as a tool for creating interactive content for browsers and mobile devices. Some of this work has been re-tooled using HTML/JavaScript, but I have not had the time yet to reproduce all of it.
As I have phased out my own teaching career, I have turned to supporting others with professional development, curriculum, and resources. The most obvious examples are my work with MAA Connect, MAA Virtual Programs, and the MAA OPEN Math project.
