These terms and conditions apply to the Basic Calendar app (the Application) for mobile devices, created by dotori labs (the Service Provider) as a free service. Basic Calendar is free to use and developer support purchases are voluntary. Supporting the developer is not required to use the app.
Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them before using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is prohibited. Attempts to extract source code, translate the Application or create derivative versions are not permitted except to the extent allowed by applicable licenses or law. Intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners. Rights granted under the app's existing MIT license and applicable third-party open-source licenses remain unaffected; see Open Source License in Settings.
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible and reserves the right to modify the Application or charge for services at any time and for any reason. Any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you. The current app is free, with optional support processed by Apple StoreKit.
The Application processes information to provide its service as explained in the Privacy Policy. Calendar access is subject to your device permissions, and account syncing depends on your device and calendar provider settings. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which removes operating-system restrictions and may expose your phone to malware, compromise security features or prevent the Application from working correctly.

Some functions require an active internet connection, through Wi-Fi or your mobile network. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity because you lack Wi-Fi or have exhausted your data allowance.
Outside a Wi-Fi area, your mobile provider's agreement still applies. You may incur data or other third-party charges, including roaming charges if you use the app outside your home territory without disabling data roaming. By using the app, you accept responsibility for those charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, the Service Provider assumes that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.
The Service Provider cannot always assume responsibility for your use of the Application. For example, it is your responsibility to keep your device charged; the Service Provider cannot be held responsible if your device runs out of battery and you cannot access the service.
While the Service Provider strives to keep the Application updated and accurate, it relies on third parties for some information. The Service Provider accepts no liability for direct or indirect loss arising from relying entirely on this functionality.
Operating-system requirements may change, and updates may be needed to continue using the app. The Service Provider does not guarantee it will always update the Application for your operating-system version. You agree to accept app updates when offered. The Service Provider may cease providing the Application and terminate its use without notice. Unless you are informed otherwise, upon termination the rights and licenses granted under these terms end and you must cease using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device. Applicable open-source license grants are not revoked by this clause.
Changes to these terms will be posted on this page. Please review it periodically.
