This Privacy Policy explains how TechTenStein Services Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the DoseMate medication-reminder mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
Privacy by design. DoseMate is built local-first. Your health information — medications, schedules, dose history, health measurements, and inventory — is stored on your device and is not uploaded to our servers unless you choose to enable an optional cloud feature (such as caregiver linking). Drug-interaction checking runs entirely offline on your device.
The App is provided by TechTenStein Services Pvt Ltd, India. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@techtenstein.com.
Health and medication data: medicines, doses, schedules, reminder settings, dose history (taken / missed / skipped), health measurements (e.g., blood pressure, glucose, weight, temperature, mood, pain), notes, and inventory.
Profiles: profile names and relationships you create (including profiles you manage for dependents or people in your care).
This data is stored in a local database on your device and is removed when you use "Clear my data" in the App or uninstall the App.
If you link a caregiver, we use Google Firebase to create an anonymous/account identifier (Firebase Authentication) and to exchange one-time invite codes and missed-dose alert events between you and the caregiver you invite (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions).
We process the minimum data needed to deliver these alerts. We do not upload your full medication list for this feature.

Premium subscriptions are processed by the app store you installed from (Google Play Billing or the Samsung Galaxy Store). We receive your purchase/entitlement status but not your payment-card details.
When you search for a drug or view a drug label, the drug name or identifier you entered is sent to public reference services — the U.S. National Library of Medicine RxNav and the U.S. FDA openFDA — to return results. These requests are not linked to your identity by us. The pairwise drug-interaction check itself runs offline using a bundled dataset.
To deliver medication reminders and run the App's features.
To deliver caregiver invites and missed-dose alerts when you enable them.
To diagnose crashes, maintain reliability, and improve the App.
To show advertising in the free tier and to process Premium purchases.
To comply with legal obligations.
The free tier shows ads via Google AdMob, which may use advertising identifiers to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Purchasing Premium removes ads. See Google's advertising policies.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
With service providers that operate the App's infrastructure (Google Firebase, Google AdMob) and the app stores (Google, Samsung), under their terms.
With drug-data services (RxNav, openFDA) solely to return your lookups.
With a caregiver you choose to link (the alerts you authorize).
Where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
On-device data: removed when you tap "Clear my data" or uninstall the App.
Cloud data (if you used caregiver features): you can delete your account and associated cloud data from within the App (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing contact@techtenstein.com.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our service providers may process data on servers located outside your country (for example, Google's global infrastructure). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. An adult account holder is responsible for any dependent profiles they create and manage.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Most of your data is on your device and within your direct control. To exercise rights over any cloud data, contact contact@techtenstein.com.
DoseMate is a reminder and organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional. See the Terms of Use for the full disclaimer.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
