Researcher & Practitioner | Cross-Sector Partnerships | Business Resilience in Crisis Contexts
I am a researcher and practitioner exploring how local actors and businesses navigate complex governance systems in the context of climate-related disasters. My work focuses on cross-sector social interactions, business-humanitarian partnerships, and inclusive governance in disaster response and resilience.
I recently completed my PhD in Management Studies at Copenhagen Business School (October 2025). My research examines how spatial and institutional dynamics shape collaboration, power, and legitimacy in crisis contexts. Drawing on a background in geography, critical management studies, and disaster risk governance, I use qualitative and spatial methods to understand, and help improve, approaches to crisis governance.
I am currently employed at CBS as a Research Assistant with the HUMAC project, where I am working on translating the findings of my PhD into a practitioner-oriented report. This work focuses on developing actionable guidance and frameworks to support more effective and inclusive crisis governance practices.
Before entering academia, I worked with the World Food Programme, UN’s Connecting Business Initiative, and the Harvard Kennedy School through the Mercator Fellowship on International Affairs. These experiences deepened my interest in bridging academic insights with practical applications, and in supporting partnerships that strengthen resilience in crisis-affected areas.
