Nobita Nobi

Nobita Nobi or simply known as Noby is a fictional character in the Doraemon anime and manga series created by Fujiko Fujio, He is one of the main characters and Protagonist in the series. Nobita is usually depicted as an elementary school student, he is seen as failure in his life. He is the child of Nobisuke Nobi and Tamako Nobi. Nobita is taken care of by his parents along with a robotic cat from the future sent back in time known as "Doraemon" by Nobita's great-grandson Sewashi Nobi from the 22th century.

Appearance

Nobita is seen as a 10 year old boy with a light skin tone. He wears large rounded glasses. He is usually seen wearing a yellow shirt with navy blue shorts, although he is shown to wear many different types of clothing throughout the series. He has black hair with a simple hair style paired with black eyes and big rounded glasses. His appearance may differ due to different art style adaptation throughout the years.

Characteristics

In the series Nobita is depicted as a lazy and carefree person with little to no athletic capabilities. He is often seen childish by his friends & classmates. He hesitates and dislikes to engage in critical thinking activities such as completing his daily homework. He also dislikes reading books and only prefers comics as such he lacks basic knowledge in every subject. He often uses his leisure time to nap and play baseball. Occasionally, Nobita begs Doraemon to lend him a gadget to get revenge on his bully or to show off to his classmate and love interest Shizuka Minamoto or to provide convenience for himself such as getting his homework done quicker. Whenever he has access to a gadget from Doraemon he mostly always abuses its power and this sometimes backfires on him. He is often scolded by his teacher and parents for failing to complete his homework, sleeping in class, arriving late at school, getting low marks, being lazy and more. He is often teased and bullied by his friend Gian and Suneo except Shizuka.

He does not possess many skills but the skills he has are very unique which his friends don't even have, he is greatly skilled in Cat's cradle, Kendama and marksmanship, able to strike multiple targets with a moments notice, In Nobita's Galaxy Super Express movie he is seen being able to shoot multiple shots into a flying can with ease. He also demonstrates exceptional skill in playing Kendama, a skill he acquired through lessons from his grandmother. He is occasionally seen engaging in kind-hearted and courageous actions, in some story lines he has risked his life to help others in need or even entire civilizations.

Despite not doing well academically, Occasionally with great determination he is capable of completing his homework and achieving an amazing grade, he has great creative and imaginative strengths.
