Relief Distributions

Basic criteria to select the families for the relief items:

• Families should not have concrete houses
• Shall have impacted with Fani cyclone
• Shall not have any earning family members from Govt or private sectors

For Phase-II, team has visited the following villages ("KothaSahi", "BhrhmanaSahi", "HarijanaSahi", "NuaPatana", "DasPatana", "SaraswatiPur, "DiyonkaSahi", "BaliSahi", "BamphiSahi", "SulamaraSahi", "KandiSahi") .

This time challenges were more due to our relief criteria. Many of the families have approached our team to provide relief items in spite of their well built-up. Kudos to the team who have not deviated from the original plan & made it a grand success.

2kgs of potato, 1kg onion, 1kg toor dal, 1/2 lirer oil, 1kg flatten rice, 1 matchbox, 1/2 kg sugar, 1/2 kg salt, 500gm marie gold biscuit & 1 mosquito net have been given to 105 families.

For Phase-III, team has visited the following villages ("SanaGaun", "BaidaMala", " SubalayaPattna", "TaraJanga", "DashSahi", "BadMauSahi", "VaishnavaSahi", "BhalaPur", "DhobaSahi", "PanaSahi", "NuaSasanaDahinaSahi", "UtaraSahi", "BadaMaliSahi", "SubalayaPatana", "BamphiSahi") .

Phase-III has been executed in two parts. Team was able to cover 53 families in Part1 & 72 families in Part2.

1kg of flatten rice, 1 mosquito net, 1 solar emergency light have been given to 125 families.

Team Do-Our-Bits have tried their best to contact people who believe to do charity & see how their money is been utilized in relief activities of Fani victims. It was started with two of the IT engineers & expanded to 100 active members.
