As you all know, Fani Cyclone which has been classified as extremely sever cyclone has devastated Odisha coastal areas and impacted life of the people to great extent. Based on the feedback from the localities, the severity of this cycle is same or more than super cyclone in 1999. Most of the coastal areas like Puri, Konark etc are completely washed out by Fani except the house which are made of concrete, uprooted lots of trees, killed lots of domestic animals.

Our such initiative has been appreciated by many residents of Odisha & our friends from every part of the world. We the members of Do-Our-Bits would like to convey our heartfelt thanks & gratitude to all members who have contributed for the great cause. With this initiative we were able to reach out 360+ families directly.
We do appeal everyone to spread the message & invite individuals or corporate companies to come forward & help the victims of Fani clyclone. Currently we are actively working with companies & accepting relief materials to distribute in the remote villages of Odisha.
Do-our-bits has tied up with local Charitable Trust @Puri ("DibyaDham YogaShram" & "TirthRam Foundations") for better coverage.
Though there will be lots of donations and reliefs pouring in the these areas, it will not be sufficient to bring these peoples to their normal life specially for the people who are very poor. Hence anything we could do for them will be great help to them in addition to the support they are getting from other sources.
To make this group more unique and experiential, Here is some suggestion
Donation (Short Term):
As per the inputs from the people from the affected areas (interior villages), there would be huge delay in restoring the power. It might take few months. there is also scarcity of kerosene/diesel etc. To enable them at least with light at night and mechanism to charge the mobile devices, we are planning to distribute affordable solar laterns.

Donation (Long Term):
- Identify the needy by working with know person or recognized clubs like
- Rotary club
- Ramakrishna Mission or local institutions
- Connect to the contributors (one or many) to one of the needy looking some support like
- Constructing his/her house
- Buying some domestic animals he/she has lost
- Plantation (Coconut Trees etc)
Donation Through Company Humanity forum
- Please connect to your company CRS department and Request and facilitate them to mobilize the employee to donate as per company rules and regulations.
Donate to recognized CMs/ PMs relief funds or NGOs
- Directly donate to other organization like Clubs or NGO
