We try to make DoorOS the most robust, stable product we can, but we don't always get it right the first time. There are a variety of reasons for DoorOS to not work properly. Some of the most common problems are outlined below.

• Corrupt disk image - When downloading your copy of DoorOS, something might have gone wrong and corrupted the file. Try redownloading your copy of DoorOS and ensure you have a good Internet connection.

• Usupported system - We have designed DoorOS to run on almost any system, including virtual machines that run DoorOS inside different operating systems. If your device is too old, DoorOS may not run properly. Ensure your system is up-to-date and attempt to run DoorOS again.

• Unregistered copy - When downloading your copy of DoorOS from our official release page, it is automatically registered and should work right out of the box. However, if you obtain your copy from elsewhere, it may be unregistered. Unauthorized sharing, selling, or distributing of DoorOS is strictly prohibited under the DoorOS Beta Program Agreement. Please report any unauthorized distributors to our support team.

 As a Beta Tester, be sure to report any bugs you see and can reproduce to our development team!

DoorOS comes with a variety of built-in programs to make your computing experience as productive and smooth as possible. If you encounter a problem with a program not made by the DoorOS team, please contact the program's publisher. If you encounter any problems with DoorOS programs, please review the list below.

• Issue with program files - For any number of reasons, the files associated with the program may be corrupted. Reinstalling the program should fix this issue.

• Missing disk - If the program comes with a CD-ROM to be inserted into your computer, be sure to insert the disk before attempting to run the program. If the program allows, install it onto your hard disk drive so that it can be used without inserting the CD.

Some programs may not be updated at the same time as DoorOS Beta. Please wait until each program is updated for the current version of DoorOS Beta before attempting to use it.

DoorOS is a standalone operating system to be installed directly on the hard drive. However, should you wish to test DoorOS before installing it, we offer a variety of different DoorOS virtual machines. These virtual machines are designed for different platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux distributions, and the Internet.

Beta Testers, we recommend running your build of DoorOS Beta on your hard drive to ensure testing accuracy. If you find any issues with DoorOS Beta on a virtual machine, be sure to disclose which virtual machine you are using when reporting the problem. Reports without a listed DoorOS distribution version will be immediately rejected.

A registered copy of DoorOS can be purchased from our official release page. This is a one-time purchase, and future updates will be pushed to registered users for free.

Currently, a price has not been decided upon. Beta Testers get access to DoorOS Beta for free as long as they are apart of the program. As a token of our gratitude, all Beta Testers will be provided with two free copies of DoorOS upon release.
