Mid-Term Reflection

Me

In this class, I think my strengths are when we get to work in groups and disucss topics or when we work in groups to get projects and activities done. I like working with the people around me and we work efficiently to get things done. I also fill like I am good at delegating taks so that we all make sure we are getting the work done, without one person doing it all.

My weakness in this class would that I dont read the book like I am supposed to, I only tend to watch the lectures and think that will be enough. I have come to realize that it is not and I need to read more in depth about the topics.

Goals

When I look back on the goals that I set in the begginng of the class I feel like they are coming alone. I am still keeping up with my classes and am not far off from my goals.

I am been pretty present in class, considering that I have only missed a couple of classes and im always there on time and participating and paying attention to what is happen and getting the work done.

On this class I probably dont spend as much time on it as I should and I think I can spend more time on it. I feel like I have been making progess in this class and have been learning things that i never knew about, which is exciting.

Based on my work so far, I think I would give myself a B in this class. I can definetly improve but feel like im still not doing bad. For the rest of the semester, I think I need to improve on my portfolio topics being done.

Teaching

I feel like my comfort level with teaching earth science has imporved because I know more about topics that I couldnt talk about before. I feel smarter when it comes to earth science in general and when it comes to teaching it in front of people, I think that I am on the right track and feel better each day.

I feel like my eportfolio started off strong and I put a lot of work into it to look organized and presentable with the information presented clearly. However, recently due to life, I havent been keeping up on it and need to pick back up on my topics.
