My name is Mary Jane Pedroza, I am 27 years old and I was born and raised in Riverside California. I got married at 21 and moved to Colorado where my husband was stationed. Here, is where I found my passion for children and worked at a child development center for the 5 years. I loved working with the children and helping them learn new things. Ultimately, I decided that I was going to go back to school and pursure a degree for elementary teaching. After 9 years in the US Army, my husband decided it was time for another chapter and so he finished his contract and we moved back to Southern California to be closer to family. Upon that, I went back to school and now I am on my last semester at RCC before I am done with my degree, then going to go to Western Governors University to pursue my BA.
