We modulate multi-platform omics combining chromatographic system and mass spectrometry to investigate biochemical processes of cell, tissue, organ or organism with various phenotypes. Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI), novel molecular imaging technique, is also utilized to analyze spatial distribution of biomolecules across the tissue of interest. The ultimate goal of our group is to develop cutting edge techniques that could elucidate chemical profiles deep inside the single cell to subcellular compartment.
중앙대학교 약학대학 약품분석학 전공 이동규 교수 연구실입니다. 저희 실험실은 약학 및 생물학에서 활용하는 분석화학적 기기 및 질량분석 플랫폼을 이용하여 생체물질을 분석하는 오믹스학 관련 기술의 개발을 목표로 합니다. Chromatographic system과 mass spectrometry 연계를 이용한 high-throughput chemical profiling과 더불어 biomarker를 검출하기 위한 통계분석 등 오믹스학의 주요 기술들을 활용합니다. 저희 실험실의 궁극적인 목표는 기존의 오믹스학의 한계를 넘어서기 위해 생물을 구성하는 가장 기초단계인 single cell 부터 subcellular organelle까지의 분자 검출 기술을 개발함으로써 현재까지 밝혀지지 못한 생체분자의 활용을 찾는 것입니다.
