Trees aren’t just part of the landscape — they’re living structures that protect our homes, clean our air, and connect us to the natural world. But when they’re neglected, damaged, or dangerously positioned, they can also become serious risks.
That’s where Done Right by Dacy comes in.
This isn’t just a business — it’s a mission. Every job I take on, whether it's removing a hazardous tree, pruning for long-term health, or helping someone fix up their home, is done with one goal: make things safer, stronger, and built to last.
I believe in preserving trees where possible, and removing them when necessary — safely, skillfully, and respectfully. I'm committed to protecting people, properties, and the natural resources we all depend on.
At a time when good work is hard to find, and corner-cutting is too common, Done Right by Dacy stands for something simple:
If it’s not done right, it’s not done at all.
Hi, I’m Robert Dacy — founder of Done Right by Dacy.
I’m a professional tree climber and all-around handyman based in Spokane, WA. I’ve spent
years doing the kind of work most people won’t — climbing dangerous trees, removing
hazardous limbs, and helping homeowners protect what matters most. I believe in doing the job
safely, doing it with integrity, and doing it right the first time — every time.
But this business is more than just a paycheck to me.
I started Done Right by Dacy during one of the hardest times of my life. My mother — the
strongest person I know — is battling lung cancer, and I’ve been her full-time caregiver while still
pushing to build something better for both of us. At the same time, I rescued a severely
traumatized German Shepherd who spent the first three years of her life in fear and neglect. Her
name is Bella. She’s my shadow on the job, and she reminds me every day why I do what I do.
This work — being in the trees, protecting homes, preserving life — it gives me purpose. I’m
deeply committed to the tree care industry and to the preservation of what I believe is the
most important natural resource we have: trees. Trees clean our air, shelter wildlife, protect
properties, and beautify our world — and they deserve to be cared for with knowledge and
respect.
Whether I’m climbing 80 feet into a storm-damaged pine or helping an elderly neighbor fix their
porch, my mission is simple: show up, work hard, and leave things better than I found them.
If you need a job done safely, skillfully, and with heart — give me a call. I’d be honored to earn your trust.
