## Information We Collect

Stock Average Calculator does not collect personal information for the developer and does not operate external servers that receive your calculation data.

The app does not require you to create an account or provide personally identifiable information to use its core features.

If you enable the optional iCloud Sync feature, data necessary to provide synchronization is transmitted to and stored in your Apple iCloud account using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services.

## Local Data Storage

By default, Stock Average Calculator stores your saved calculations, transactions, notes, settings, and preferences locally on your device.

iCloud Sync is optional and is disabled by default.

If you do not enable iCloud Sync, your calculation data remains stored locally unless you choose to export, back up, or otherwise share it.

## iCloud Sync

Stock Average Calculator provides optional iCloud Sync functionality.

If you enable iCloud Sync, supported app data may be stored in your Apple iCloud account and synchronized between devices signed in to the appropriate iCloud account.

iCloud Sync is provided using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. The developer does not operate a separate server that receives or stores your synchronized calculation data.

You can enable or disable iCloud Sync from the app's Settings.

Changes made while iCloud Sync is enabled, including deletion of synchronized data, may be reflected on your other devices.

Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and privacy policies.

## App Lock and Biometric Authentication

Stock Average Calculator provides an optional App Lock feature that can use authentication methods supported by your device, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.

Biometric authentication is performed by Apple's operating system.

Stock Average Calculator does not receive, collect, store, or transmit your Face ID or Touch ID biometric data. The app receives only the authentication result needed to determine whether access should be granted.

The App Lock preference is stored locally on the device and is not synchronized through iCloud.

## Backup and Restore

The app provides Backup and Restore functionality to help you preserve your data.

When you create a backup:

- The backup file is created locally.

- You choose where the file is saved.

- The app does not automatically upload backup files to a server operated by the developer.

If you choose an iCloud Drive or other cloud storage location when saving a backup, the selected service may upload and store that file according to its own policies.

When restoring a backup, the app reads only the backup file that you explicitly select.

## Excel Export

The Excel Export feature creates a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file containing your calculation data.

Exported files are generated locally. You choose where the exported file is saved or shared.

The app does not automatically transmit exported files to a server operated by the developer.

## Internet Connectivity

Stock Average Calculator does not require an internet connection for its core local functionality.

Internet connectivity may be required for optional iCloud synchronization and other Apple services used by the app.

## Analytics and Tracking

Stock Average Calculator does not:

- Collect developer analytics about your calculations

- Track your activity across other companies' apps or websites

- Use advertising identifiers

- Use third-party advertising networks

- Sell your personal information

## Third-Party Services

Stock Average Calculator uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services when you choose to enable iCloud Sync.

If you choose to save, export, back up, or share a file using Apple's system interfaces, the destination application or service you select may process that file according to its own privacy practices.

## Data Security

When iCloud Sync is disabled, supported calculation data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or share it.

When iCloud Sync is enabled, supported data is stored and synchronized using Apple's iCloud infrastructure.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device, Apple Account, and any exported or backup files you create.

## Children's Privacy

Stock Average Calculator is not directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the app or its features.

Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of this page.
