Two brothers, Tom and James Monaghan had the idea of a business that would be the beginning of a revolutionary change in the pizza industry in 1960 and owned a small pizza shop called "DomiNick's with a meager investment of $500.
Tom was the one who changed the company's name into Domino’s Pizza Inc.
The 200th Domino’s store opened in 1978.
The last milestone of the decade marked the opening of the number 5,000th store.
In 2007 the organization upgraded its operations with online and mobile ordering services to facilitate customer convenience.
The year after, Domino's initiated the Domino's Tracker®, which now allows customers to follow their orders' progress online.
Introduced com, which allowed customers to save their favorite orders and simplify the buying process in 2013.
