CV

I obtained an Master degree in Economics in September 1993, and the PhD degree at IDEA (International Doctorate in Economic Analysis) in September 1997, both at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My research has been in social choice and mechanism design, where I have studied agents' strategic behavior in problems of public goods provision, voting, matching, etc. I have also worked in environmental economics. My research has been published in journals such as American Economic Review, Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Economic Theory, Mathematical Social Sciences, Social Choice and Welfare and International Journal of Game Theory. I am member elected of the Council of the Society for Social Choice and Welfare (2022-2027). I am Associate Editor of Mathematical Social Science since 2018.
