Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)

DOLE- Surigao Del Norte Provincial Office (SDNPO), under the supervision of DOLE- Caraga Regional Office, executes the implementation and monitoring of programs, activities, and projects, and determine its effectiveness and relevance to the government’s development thrust in the entire Province of Surigao del Norte covering 20 Municipalities with 335 Barangays.

DOLE-SDNPO is regulated to advocate the cause of the Labor Sector and the Business Community which creates employment opportunities with the three (3) Organizational Outputs (OOs) as its deliverables:

OO1: Enhanced Employability of Workers and Competitiveness of MSMEs

OO2: Ensured Protection of Worker’s Rights and Maintenance of Industrial Peace and

OO3: Strengthened Social Protection for Vulnerable Workers
