The 21. Doktorad:innentreffen der Stochastik will take place from August 26th to August 28th (Wednesday to Friday) at the Justus-Liebig-Universität in Gießen. Organized by and for doctoral students this conference brings together young researchers working in probability theory, statistics, mathematical finance, actuarial science, and all related fields.

The conference provides a platform for doctoral students to present their research, exchange ideas, and gain insights into a broad spectrum of current topics in stochastics. This annual event will be hosted in Gießen for the first time this year.

The organizers - Maren Dück, Boris Günther and Jakob Stonner - are looking forward to welcome you in Gießen. 

The conference is free of charge and we will provide accommodation and breakfast. Travel to the conference must be organized and paid privately. Kindly note that participation is limited and registration is mandatory. 

During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to give a 20-minute presentation about their research. Additionally, there will also be networking opportunities and social events hosted by the organizers. 

The conference will be held on the Seltersberg campus of Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen.

Gießen is easily accessible by train, located approximately 40 minutes from Frankfurt am Main by regional trains (RE). For more details, visit bahn.de. Furthermore, Gießen is served by a FlixBus stop, providing further travel options.
