All Anglers Will Receive a Tournament Number Based On
Category and Online Registration
Tournament Package Pick Up and CHECK IN will be Friday 3/24/2023 from 6-8pm
and Saturday 3/25/2023 from 7-8am
at the Benedict Fire House
YOU MUST CHECK IN TO GET YOUR TOURNEY NUMBER AND WEIGH IN TIME!

We Ask All Anglers that Have Not Picked Up Their Entry Booklet to do so at Benedict Fire Hall Before Tournament
We ask Boaters to meet at The Benedict Bridge Area for Blessing at 8am

TOURNAMENT RULES
All Participants Must Register and Pay Online and Receive a Tournament Number
All Participants Must Have Valid MD Fishing License (16 and over)
All Participants Must Waive Liability when Registering for Protection of Hosts and Sponsors
The HONOR System Applies Throughout the ENTIRE Tournament
Handheld Rod and Reel/ Hook and Line Fishing ONLY
All Anglers Must be Registered and Paid Before 8am March 25, 2023- No Refunds of Entry Fees
As There May Be Media Persons and Spectators at Weigh-In, Please Conduct Yourself in a Professional Manner
All Fishing and Angling Methods Must Comply with Current Federal, State and U.S.C.G. Safety and Fishing Regulations
Any Fish to be Weighed in at the Benedict VFD shall be brought in by Motor Vehicle
Tie Breakers: In the Event of a Tie in ANY Category, the Prize Pot will be Split
Anglers may fish anywhere on the Patuxent River and its Tidal Tributaries Regardless of Division
Anglers Must be in Line to have their fish weighed during their staggered weigh in times
*Staggered weigh in time will be assigned when registering
Tournament Weigh Ins Will be Held from 3:30pm- 6pm
*Tournament Closes Officially at 6:30pm
All Catfish Species are Accepted. Please See DNR Page for all species types
Angler must sign weigh in slip at time of weighing to assure confirmation of weight. No protests may occur after weigh in.
The tournament officials reserve the right to disqualify any individual they believe to be breaking the rules in any way
PRIZES
All Entry Fees will be split in each separate category.
1/2 will go to Calvert Hospice
1/2 will go to First Place in each category (prize pots separated by amount of entries)
2nd and 3rd place prizes to be announced
