Statement Bio

Regina's art flows from her Eurasian culture, a love of animals and a belief in kami or spirit... the notion that "all" persons and animals, places, or things have being.

Her oil and acrylic paintings are expressionist and abstract, reflecting and reacting to a person, place, or thing.

Her fired clay and bronze metal sculptures are figurative. Known for their sensuous lines and unfinished surfaces, her sculptures embrace love and fear.

Regina creates in a variety of media and styles. A professional sculptor, jeweler, painter, and art educator of 40 + years-- working in metal, clay, paint, paper, and wax--Regina divides her time between her art school in coastal Alabama, Saratoga, and the Finger Lakes, NY.
