Dog Walking & Health Tracker (”the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is developed and maintained by Oussama El Mejdoubi.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.
You may choose to enter and store information about your dogs, including:
Dog profiles
Routines
Walk records
Potty logs
Medication and dosing records
Weight history
Training sessions
Food and supply lists
Expenses
Documents, such as vaccination records or insurance documents
Photos
Notes
This information is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate our own servers or databases that store your dog-care content.
If you enable iCloud for the App, supported content may be synchronized across your compatible devices using Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services.
If you use the App’s caregiver sharing feature and invite another person to a shared dog, information associated with that shared dog may also be synchronized to the caregiver’s device through Apple’s CloudKit sharing infrastructure.
We do not operate or control Apple’s iCloud infrastructure and do not have access to the contents of your private iCloud data.
The App may request access to your device’s camera when you choose to scan or capture a document, such as a vaccination record.
The App may also allow you to select existing photos from your Photos library to attach to a dog’s profile, document, or other supported content.
Camera images and selected photos are treated as App content and are stored locally on your device. If iCloud synchronization is enabled, supported content may also be synchronized through iCloud.
The App does not access your camera or Photos library without your action and the applicable iOS permission.
If you subscribe to Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store.
The App uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, to verify purchases and determine subscription entitlement and status.
RevenueCat may receive information such as:
An app-specific or anonymous identifier
Purchase and transaction information
Subscription status and entitlement information
Basic device and platform information
Apple handles your payment information. We do not receive or store your payment card number or payment credentials, and RevenueCat does not receive your payment card details through the App’s subscription integration.
The App may schedule local notifications for features such as:
Care routines
Medication reminders
Supply refills
Document expiration reminders
These notifications are scheduled and delivered using Apple’s notification framework on your device.
We do not operate a server that sends these notifications.
Information stored and processed by the App is used solely to provide its features and functionality, including:
Storing and organizing your dogs’ care information
Recording walks, routines, medication, training, and other care activities
Managing documents, photos, notes, and expenses
Synchronizing supported data through iCloud when enabled
Sharing supported information with caregivers you explicitly invite
Providing local reminders and notifications
Verifying Premium purchases and subscription entitlements
We do not use your dog-care information for advertising or build advertising profiles from it.
We do not sell your information or share your dog-care content with data brokers or advertising networks.
Information may be processed by the following services when necessary to provide features you choose to use:
Apple, for iCloud and CloudKit synchronization and sharing, and App Store purchase processing through StoreKit.
RevenueCat, for subscription management and entitlement verification.
If you explicitly invite a caregiver to share a dog, that caregiver can access the information included in the shared dog according to the permissions and sharing functionality provided by Apple’s CloudKit sharing system.
We do not have access to the dog-care content stored or shared through your private iCloud/CloudKit data.
Your App content is stored locally on your device.
When iCloud synchronization is enabled, supported content may also be stored using Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit infrastructure.
We do not operate our own servers or databases that store your dog-care content.
The security of data stored through Apple’s services is subject to Apple’s applicable security measures, terms, and privacy practices.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device and Apple Account, including using a device passcode and keeping your Apple Account credentials secure.
You remain in control of your App data.
You can:
Delete individual dogs, records, documents, photos, notes, or other supported content from within the App.
Disable iCloud synchronization through your device’s settings.
Manage or delete applicable iCloud data through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
Manage or restore your Premium subscription through the App’s Settings.
Cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple Account subscription settings.
Control notification permissions through your iOS settings.
Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from your device. Data that has already been synchronized to iCloud may remain in your iCloud account until it is deleted through the App or applicable Apple iCloud controls.
The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, its features, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
