TAMU Gas Breakthrough Cell
The high-pressure gas migration cell (up to 12MPa) overcome the limitations of the UPC Oedometer to test clayed materials at high gas injection pressures.
The new cell was designed at TAMU and is equipped with one extrude at each cap to prevent preferential gas flow at the contact clay-cell wall and therefore enable measuring the flow through the clayed soil.
