What is KDA?
KDA stands for Kuching Dodgeball Association, a community-driven organization dedicated to promoting dodgeball through drop-in sessions, tournaments, and outreach programs in Kuching, Sarawak.

Who can join KDA events?
Anyone aged 14 and above can join our drop-in sessions, regardless of skill level. Both beginners and experienced players are welcome.

Is there a membership system?
No, KDA does not have a membership system. We operate on a session-based format where players can participate in events by registering online.

What style of Dodgeball does KDA implement?

KDA utilizes 7-inch Foam Dodgeballs exclusively.

What is the typical duration of a Dodgeball game?

In KDA, we play our dodgeball games both socially and competitively and are played in a more casual setting. Depending on how many players are joining the session, one match can take up to 15 to 18 minutes and will be rotating between a total of 4 to 6 teams.

Formally written in the WDBF guidelines though, matches will usually take up to 40 minutes and is split into two halves (20 minutes each). So expect this to happen if we ever have any competitions.

What are the drop-in session fees?

• Regular Players: RM10 per session

• First-Timers (Your first time to our drop-in session): RM5 per session

When and where are the drop-in sessions held?
Sessions are held every Tuesday from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Arena Sukan, Simpang Tiga.

Do I need to bring anything for the sessions?
Wear comfortable sports attire, bring a water bottle, and be ready for an exciting game! Dodgeballs will be provided.

How can I participate in tournaments?
Tournament announcements will be made on our website and social media. Registration links will be shared accordingly.

Are tournaments open to everyone?
Yes, depending on the event format. Some tournaments are open to all, while others may be for registered teams only.

How do I join a dodgeball club in Kuching?

Can I form my own dodgeball team?
