This Privacy Policy explains how DocuNest ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Android application, developed by Docu Developers.
Account information: If you sign in with email/password or Google Sign-In, we collect your email address and basic profile information (such as name) via Firebase Authentication. If you use the App as a guest, a temporary anonymous identifier is created instead.
Photos and files you choose to process: Many tools in the App (such as PDF conversion, image editing, and OCR) require you to select photos, images, or documents from your device. These files are processed to perform the feature you request (e.g. converting an image to PDF) and are not collected, stored on our servers, or shared with third parties unless required for a specific cloud-based feature explicitly described in the App.
Purchase information: When you buy credit packs, the purchase is processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation that a purchase was completed (to grant credits to your account) but do not receive or store your payment card details — those are handled directly by Google Play.
Usage and diagnostic data: We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes, which may include device type, app version, and general usage events.
Referral data: If you use our referral program, we store a referral code and which account it was associated with, to grant referral rewards.

The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:

Account data is stored securely using Firebase's infrastructure. Files you select for processing (photos, PDFs, images) are handled on your device wherever possible and are not permanently stored on our servers.
You can sign out or delete your account at any time from within the App's Profile section.
You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us using the details below.
DocuNest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
