Dr. Yerkes values a well rounded education and hopes to give Oak Lawn Community High School students the same opportunities he had, if not more. 

Dr. Yerkes is concerned that only 22-23% of the students have the ability to read and do math at grade level. He is willing to work with the teachers and even give up 2 hours of his own time on Thursdays so that these scores can improve. 

His objective is to improve learning outcomes. To be continued...
