Dr. Yerkes is running as a "Write-in Canidate" for school board at Oak Lawn Community High School District 229. 

An Oak Lawn resident of 40 years and a small business owner of close to 30 years, Oak Lawn Dental LLC.  Dr. Yerkes has been called to serve his community and bring his talents to better the Oak Lawn Community High School Board.

Dr. Yerkes has a Masters of Arts degree in Education and a current State of Illinois High School Teaching License.  He has been very involved in the community volunteering to do free dentistry for the poor at Chicago Dental Society Foundation. He also was a member of St. Vincent Depaul Society and Knights of Columbus, which services those in need. Besides this, Dr. Yerkes has also coached backetball for 13 seasons at the Grammar School level.
