History Overview
Holly Baird was born in Wichta, Kansas as 1:45 am to Ivy and Favid Baird. She grew up working on the horse ranch her family built and owned many generations before, Canter Creek Farms. This ranch was primarily for horse boarding, however did have a farm connected to it. They grew hay, alfalfa, corn as well as raised cattle to sell.
Holly spent her younger years working on the farm for her father while going to school. In her freetime she cared for horse her father gifted to her. She ended up spending much of her time training for barrel racing as well as participating in events where she took home a few ribbons here and there. After the passing of her horse at the age of 17, she put down the saddle and focused on finishing high school.
2004-2005
At the age of 18, Holly enlists in the United States Navy. She goes through boot camp, then specialized training to become a Hospital Corpsmen. Attends FMTB then is assigned to the U.S marines as a fleet force corpsmen.
2005-2009
Throughout this time period, Holly sees active duty. She is active during the war in Afghanistan and sees the last phase of the Iraq War.
2009-2013
Around this time, Holly leaves active duty around 2009. She quickly marries David. her ex-husband after finding out she was pregnant with her first child, her son. During this time she also begins to attend college, pre-med.
2013-2017
Not much happens during this period of time. She goes to medical school, raises her children and gernally goes about her civilian life with some struggles.
2017-2020
Finally, after her hard work, she graduates and begins her residency, her primary focus being trauma. She works long shifts, while doing her best to be there for her children. It's at this point her marrige begins to go through a very rough patch.
2020-2024
At this point she becomes a fully licensed doctor, working in the ER. In early 2023 she begins divorce proceedings after a particularly violent incident with her ex-husband. It's a long and difficult process but she makes it through, for herself and for the children.
2024-2026
This period begins a new chapter of her life. In March of 2024, an incident with an anomalous entity occurs late into the evening at the hospital Holly was employed at. Through quick thinking and resourcefulness Dr.Baird saved the lives of multiple patients, thus gaining the eye of the foundation. She was recruited and proceeded the next two years bouncing around to provide her expertise at different sites.
