App: DocResizer: Photo & Signature
Developer: Bhoosnap Tools
Effective Date: 22 August 2026
Last Updated: 28 August 2026
Bhoosnap Tools (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how DocResizer: Photo & Signature (“App”) accesses, processes, stores, collects, and shares information when you use the App.
DocResizer is designed primarily as a local-first document-processing application.
Your Photos, Signatures, PDFs, scanned Documents, identity-document images, certificates, marksheets, and generated Files are primarily processed and stored on your device.
We do not intentionally upload your personal Document contents to our servers, Firebase, Google AdMob, or Meta Audience Network.
However, the App uses certain third-party services for advertising, notifications, document-scanner technology, App updates, and reviews. Those services may process limited device, advertising, diagnostic, app-usage, or network information as explained below.
Depending on how you use the App, you may select, capture, scan, import, create, edit, or generate Files such as:
· Photos
· Signatures
· Aadhaar or other ID images
· Voter ID images
· Marksheets
· Certificates
· Thumb impressions
· Scanned Documents
· PDFs
· Images
· Other personal Documents
These Files may contain sensitive or personal information.
The App is designed so that core Document processing takes place locally on your device.
Your Document contents are not intentionally uploaded by Bhoosnap Tools to a remote Bhoosnap Tools server for processing.
The App may copy selected Files into app-controlled storage so that features such as My Documents, Document Lists, Scanner Library, editing, processing, and generation can work reliably.
The App may locally store information such as:
· Imported original Files
· Prepared copies
· Generated Files
· Scanner Library Files
· Document names or labels
· Document types
· Document Lists
· File requirements
· File size or dimensions
· Processing status
· App preferences
· Language preference
· Backup-related information
This information is primarily stored on your device rather than in an online Bhoosnap Tools account.
The App does not currently require you to create an account to use its normal document-processing functionality.
The App provides a manual Backup & Restore feature for supported locally stored App information.
Current backups may include:
Person Profile information and relationships;
My Documents metadata and supported files;
Document Lists, links and requirements;
Scanner Library records and files;
Resume/CV/Biodata drafts and their entered content; and
Resume-owned Photo and Signature files referenced by saved Resume drafts.
Generated-output history, exported/generated Resume PDFs, temporary processing files, cache files and certain App preferences are not included in the canonical backup.
Password-Protected and Unprotected Backups
For current backup versions, password protection is optional and disabled by default.
If you create a backup without enabling password protection, the backup is not encrypted. Because a backup may contain personal Documents, Resume information, Photos, Signatures or other sensitive information, anyone who obtains the unprotected backup file may potentially access its contents.
You should keep unprotected backup files in a private and secure location.
If you choose password protection, the backup payload is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with a password-derived key. The password itself is not stored by the App or Bhoosnap Tools.
Bhoosnap Tools cannot recover a forgotten backup password.
Older supported backup formats may always require the password with which they were originally created.
Backup Storage
The App does not automatically upload your backup to a Bhoosnap Tools server.
You choose the backup destination using Android's system file-selection interface.
Depending on applications and storage providers installed on your device, the system interface may allow you to save a backup to local storage or to a third-party provider such as a cloud-storage service.
Selecting such a third-party destination does not mean Bhoosnap Tools operates that service. The selected provider's own privacy policy applies to data you store there.
The App does not currently provide automatic cloud synchronization or direct Google Drive backup.
Restore
Restore uses the backup file selected by you and replaces the supported canonical App data with the validated contents of that backup rather than automatically merging it with all existing data.
Protected backups require the correct password. Unprotected current-format backups can be restored without a password.
The App validates supported backup structure, references and file integrity before replacement. A backup that is corrupted, unsupported or fails required validation may be rejected.
You are responsible for retaining any separately exported or generated Files that are not included in the backup.
The App displays or may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers, including:
These advertising services may automatically collect or process certain information necessary to deliver, measure, secure, personalise, or limit advertisements.
Depending on provider configuration, your location, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law, this information may include:
· IP address
· General or approximate location inferred from network information
· Advertising ID or similar device/app identifiers
· App instance or device identifiers
· Device manufacturer and model
· Operating-system information
· App version and package information
· Language or regional settings
· Advertisement impressions
· Advertisement clicks or interactions
· App interactions
· Diagnostic or performance information
· Fraud-prevention and security information
Advertising providers may combine information processed through their services with other information they hold where permitted by applicable law and their own privacy policies.
We do not intentionally provide your Photo, Signature, PDF contents, scanned Documents, Aadhaar/Voter ID contents, certificate contents, document numbers, OCR content, filenames, or generated Document contents to Google AdMob or Meta Audience Network for advertising purposes.
Depending on your location and applicable law, the App may present privacy or consent choices relating to advertising.
Advertising may be:
· personalised;
· non-personalised;
· limited; or
· otherwise restricted based on your privacy choices.
Where consent is legally required, advertising-related processing is configured to respect the consent options available through the applicable consent mechanism.
You may also be able to manage or reset advertising identifiers and advertising-personalisation settings through your Android/Google device settings.
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to provide push notifications.
Firebase may generate or process an installation identifier or similar technical registration information so that notifications can be delivered to a particular installation of the App.
Notification-related processing may include technical information necessary for delivery, such as:
· App installation identifier
· App/package information
· App version
· Device/operating-system information
· Language or locale information
· Notification-delivery information
We do not intentionally send personal Document contents through FCM.
Notification messages are intended to contain non-sensitive information.
Depending on the message, tapping a notification may:
· open a particular area of the App; or
· offer to open an external HTTP/HTTPS webpage.
When an external webpage is involved, the App may ask for confirmation before leaving the App.
On supported Android versions, you can allow or deny notification permission through Android settings.
The App uses Google’s ML Kit Document Scanner / Google Play services for document-scanning functionality.
The actual image/document input and resulting scanned content are processed on-device by the scanner technology and are returned to the App after you choose to use them.
Google’s ML Kit or Google Play services may separately process limited device, application, performance, diagnostic, or usage information required for operation, diagnostics, updates, or compatibility.
We do not intentionally use the scanner to transmit your scanned Document contents to Bhoosnap Tools servers.
The App may use Google Play functionality for:
· checking or installing App updates; and
· requesting an in-app rating or review.
These features are provided through Google Play and may involve processing by Google in accordance with Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
Bhoosnap Tools does not receive your Google account password through these features.
Resume, CV and Biodata Information
If you use the Resume / CV / Biodata Maker, you may voluntarily enter personal information needed to prepare your document.
Depending on what you choose to include, this may contain:
Name
Phone number
Email address
Address
Professional or career information
Educational qualifications
Employment and work-experience information
Skills and technical knowledge
Projects
Training and internships
Certifications and achievements
Languages
Hobbies
References
Date of birth
Marital status
Nationality
Father's name
Declaration text
Photo
Signature
Other information you voluntarily enter into your Resume, CV or Biodata
Optional Biodata information is not required merely to use the Resume Maker. The Resume Maker is not designed to request Aadhaar number, caste, religion or unrelated sensitive identity information.
How Resume Data is Processed
Resume/CV/Biodata drafts and associated Resume-owned Photo and Signature files are stored in app-private storage on your device.
The Resume editor uses bundled offline components supplied with the App. Resume content is not loaded from a remote Resume website, and personal Resume content is not sent to a remote server merely for editing, previewing or generating the PDF.
The App does not intentionally upload Resume content to Firebase, advertising providers, Bhoosnap Tools servers, employers or job portals as part of the normal Resume-making process.
Resume content, including names, contact information, employment information, education information, Photo, Signature and other user-entered Resume text, is not intentionally included in analytics events or application logs.
Photos and Signatures
A Resume may optionally use a Photo or Signature selected from My Documents, Camera, Gallery or Files.
When an existing Photo or Signature is selected from My Documents, the App creates a separate Resume-owned local copy. Later modifying or deleting the original My Documents item therefore does not automatically modify the copy already attached to that Resume.
PDF Export and Sharing
Generated Resume PDFs are created locally on the device.
A Resume PDF leaves app-controlled storage only when you intentionally save, export or share it.
If you share or upload a Resume PDF to an employer, recruitment website, messaging application, email service, cloud-storage provider or another third party, that third party's privacy practices apply.
Bhoosnap Tools cannot control how a recipient or third-party service stores, uses, copies or redistributes a Resume after you have intentionally provided it to them.
If you contact us by email, you voluntarily provide information such as:
· your email address;
· your name, if included;
· the contents of your message; and
· any attachments you intentionally send.
We use this information to respond to your request, provide support, investigate problems, protect the App, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Do not email sensitive identity Documents unless they are genuinely necessary for the support request.
Through the normal local document-processing workflow, Bhoosnap Tools does not intentionally collect on its servers:
· your Aadhaar number;
· Voter ID number;
· examination registration number;
· Signature image;
· personal Photo;
· scanned certificate contents;
· marksheet contents;
· PDF contents;
· OCR text;
· locally entered Document names;
· local File paths;
· generated Document contents.
Third-party advertising and platform SDKs may separately process the limited technical information described in this Policy, but they are not intentionally given your Document contents for advertising.
We may share or permit processing of limited information with service providers necessary to operate supported App features.
These may include:
For services such as:
· Google AdMob
· Firebase Cloud Messaging
· Google Play services
· ML Kit
· Google Play In-App Update
· Google Play In-App Review
For:
· Meta Audience Network advertising
These providers process information under their own applicable privacy terms and contractual arrangements.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
· comply with applicable law;
· respond to a valid legal process;
· protect users;
· investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
· protect our legal rights.
We do not sell users’ personal Document contents.
When you intentionally use Share, Save, Export, or similar functions, you choose where the File goes.
For example, you may send a File to:
· Telegram
· Google Drive
· Another cloud-storage application
· File manager
· Another installed Android application
Once you choose another application or service, its privacy policy and data-handling practices apply.
Bhoosnap Tools cannot control how that third party subsequently stores, modifies, shares, or processes the File.
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the App’s local-first architecture.
These include, where applicable:
· app-private storage for canonical Files;
· controlled content sharing;
· temporary File-access permissions;
· cleanup of temporary processing Files;
· avoiding broad all-files storage access;
· password-encrypted portable backups;
· secure network transport provided by supported third-party SDKs; and
· limiting sensitive information in notifications and application logs.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You should protect your device with an appropriate PIN, password, biometric lock, or other device security where sensitive Documents are stored.
Files and metadata stored locally in the App generally remain until:
· you delete them;
· the App removes temporary Files as part of normal cleanup;
· you clear App storage/data;
· you uninstall the App; or
· device/storage failure removes them.
Files you explicitly export or save outside the App remain at the destination you selected until you delete them there.
Backup Files remain wherever you save them until you delete them.
Information you send to our support email may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Google, Firebase, AdMob, Meta, and other service providers retain information according to their own service configurations, privacy policies, legal requirements, and retention practices.
Because the App’s main Document library is stored locally rather than in an online Bhoosnap Tools account, you can generally delete your content directly from within the App where deletion controls are available.
You can also remove local App data through Android system settings or by uninstalling the App.
Please note:
· exported Files must be deleted separately from the location where you saved them;
· backups must be deleted separately from their chosen storage location;
· Files previously shared with another application must be deleted through that application or recipient where applicable; and
· third-party SDK information is subject to the relevant provider’s deletion and retention mechanisms.
If you have a privacy-related question or request concerning information you directly sent to Bhoosnap Tools, contact us at:
sujit.bera.jgm@gmail.com
Depending on your device, region, and App version, privacy controls may include:
· granting or denying notification permission;
· changing notification settings;
· choosing advertising consent options where applicable;
· managing Android/Google advertising settings;
· resetting or deleting supported advertising identifiers;
· deleting locally saved Documents;
· clearing App data;
· uninstalling the App;
· deleting exported Files;
· deleting backups; and
· deciding whether to share a File with another application.
DocResizer is a general document utility and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Parents or guardians should supervise a minor’s use of sensitive identity Documents, application Files, or third-party services where appropriate.
Advertising and privacy settings applicable to younger users will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the requirements of the advertising platforms used by the App.
Google, Meta, and other third-party technology providers may process certain technical or advertising information on infrastructure located in countries other than your own.
Such processing is governed by the relevant provider’s privacy practices and applicable data-protection requirements.
Your personal Document contents remain subject to the local-first processing described in this Policy unless you intentionally export, share, back up, or otherwise transfer them to a third-party service.
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
· App features change;
· advertising or technology providers change;
· data practices change;
· legal requirements change; or
· security or privacy practices are improved.
When the Policy changes, the “Last Updated” date will be revised.
Material changes may also be communicated within the App where appropriate.
