These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the DocResizer: Photo & Signature Android application (“App”), provided by Bhoosnap Tools (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
DocResizer is a document-preparation utility intended to help users prepare files for online applications and other personal uses.
Depending on the available version, the App may provide tools including:
· Photo crop, resize, and compression
· Signature crop, cleanup, resize, and compression
· Document scanning
· Image-to-PDF conversion
· PDF-to-image conversion
· PDF compression
· PDF merge, split, extraction, organization, and rotation
· Image format conversion
· Combining document or ID images
· File-size, dimension, and format validation
· Reusable storage of prepared documents in My Documents
· Document requirement lists
· Generated application-ready copies
· Backup and Restore
· File sharing and export
Features may be modified, added, limited, or removed in future versions.
DocResizer is a private utility application and is not a government application, government service, official application portal, or government-authorized document-verification service.
Bhoosnap Tools is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any government department, examination authority, educational institution, recruitment authority, UIDAI, Election Commission, or other public authority merely because the App allows users to prepare documents commonly required by such organisations.
The App does not submit government forms or applications on your behalf.
The App may help you create a File matching requirements that you enter, such as:
· Width and height
· File size
· Format
· DPI
· PDF page size
· Page count
· Other document requirements
However, every website, examination authority, recruitment board, institution, or application portal may apply its own validation rules.
Therefore, we do not guarantee that a File generated by the App will be accepted by any particular website, portal, authority, institution, or application system.
You are responsible for checking the official requirements before uploading or submitting a File.
Where the App reports that a requested requirement cannot safely be achieved, you should review the File manually rather than assuming it is suitable for submission.
You may import, scan, create, edit, store, generate, share, or export Photos, Signatures, PDFs, identity-document images, certificates, marksheets, and other Files through the App.
You retain ownership of your content.
Using the App does not transfer ownership of your Documents to Bhoosnap Tools.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use, modify, reproduce, store, or share any File processed through the App.
You must not use the App to manipulate, forge, falsify, impersonate, fabricate, or unlawfully alter Documents for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
The App is designed primarily as a local-first application.
Documents saved in My Documents, Scanner Library, generated Files, and related app information may be stored in app-controlled storage on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining copies of important Files.
Clearing the App’s storage, resetting your device, uninstalling the App, losing or damaging your device, or other device/storage failures may permanently remove locally stored information.
Where available, the App provides Backup & Restore functionality. A backup does not occur automatically merely because you use the App.
You must intentionally create and safely store your backup.
Generated Files that you need permanently should also be exported or saved to a location outside the App where appropriate.
The App provides a manual portable Backup & Restore feature that allows supported locally stored App data to be saved into a .fdabackup file.
A backup may contain supported data such as:
My Documents information and associated files;
Person Profile information and document relationships;
Document Lists and saved requirements;
Scanner Library information and files;
Resume/CV/Biodata drafts; and
Photo and Signature files owned by saved Resume drafts.
Generated document-output history and exported/generated Resume PDFs are not necessarily included in the backup and should be saved separately if you need to keep them.
Optional Password Protection
For newly created backups, password protection is optional and is not enabled by default.
If you create a backup without password protection, the backup is not encrypted. Anyone who obtains access to that backup file may be able to inspect personal Documents or other information contained in it.
You are responsible for keeping an unprotected backup in a private and secure location.
If you choose to enable password protection:
the backup is encrypted using authenticated encryption;
you must create a password meeting the App's requirements;
the password is not stored or recoverable by Bhoosnap Tools; and
a protected backup cannot normally be restored without the correct password.
If you forget the password for a protected backup, Bhoosnap Tools cannot recover or reset it for you.
Older backup versions created by previous versions of the App may always require the password that was used when they were created.
Your Responsibility for Backups
Backup creation is manual and does not occur automatically merely because you use the App.
You are responsible for:
creating backups when needed;
selecting where the backup is stored;
protecting the backup file;
remembering the password where password protection is enabled; and
checking that important exported/generated files have been saved separately where appropriate.
Restoring a backup uses a Replace process rather than merging the selected backup with all existing App data. Current supported local data may therefore be replaced by the data contained in the selected backup.
You should confirm that you selected the correct backup before proceeding with a restore.
Bhoosnap Tools does not currently provide automatic Google Drive backup or cloud synchronization. If you manually save a backup through a system document provider or cloud-storage application, that third-party provider's terms and privacy practices also apply.
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including:
Advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your region, privacy choices, device settings, applicable law, and advertising-provider requirements.
Advertising providers may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address/general location, app interactions, advertisement interactions, and technical or diagnostic information.
We do not intentionally provide your Photos, Signatures, scanned Documents, PDFs, document contents, document numbers, or generated Files to advertising providers for advertising purposes.
Advertising content is provided by third parties. Bhoosnap Tools does not necessarily endorse any advertised product, service, website, or claim.
Any transaction between you and an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.
The App may provide notifications for matters such as:
· App information
· New features
· Useful tools
· Updates
· Reminders
· Relevant announcements
· Promotional or informational content
You may control notification permission through the App or Android system settings where available.
A notification may direct you to an area within the App or, after appropriate confirmation, to an external website.
You should independently evaluate any external website before providing personal information or making a transaction.
The App may interact with or rely on services provided by third parties, including Google Play services, Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and ML Kit.
The App may also open external websites when you intentionally choose to do so.
Third-party services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, and practices.
Bhoosnap Tools is not responsible for the content, availability, security, accuracy, products, transactions, or practices of independent third-party websites or services, except to the extent required by applicable law.
The App may allow you to share Files through WhatsApp, Telegram, email, cloud-storage apps, messaging apps, or other applications installed on your device.
Once you intentionally share a File with another application, that application receives access to the shared copy according to its own privacy and storage practices.
Some third-party applications may recompress, rename, convert, or otherwise modify shared images or Files.
Where an exact File size or exact generated File is important, verify the File after transfer and, where appropriate, share or attach it as a File/Document instead of as a compressed photo.
The App may use Google Play services to check for available updates and may offer Google Play’s in-app update functionality.
The App may also request an in-app rating or review through Google Play.
Whether an update or review interface is shown may depend on Google Play and device eligibility.
The App, including its software, interface design, branding, original graphics, text, icons, processing workflows, and other material created by Bhoosnap Tools, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the App for lawful purposes.
You may not, except where permitted by applicable law:
· redistribute or sell the App;
· remove ownership notices;
· attempt to gain unauthorised access to App systems;
· exploit the App to provide an unauthorised competing service;
· interfere with security or technical protections; or
· use the App for unlawful activity.
Resume, CV and Biodata Maker
The App includes a Resume / CV / Biodata Maker that allows users to create, edit, preview, save and share resumes, CVs and biodata documents.
Depending on the information you choose to enter, a Resume, CV or Biodata may contain information such as:
Name and contact details
Address or other personal details
Education and qualifications
Employment and work experience
Skills and technical knowledge
Projects, training, internships, certifications or achievements
Languages and hobbies
References
Date of birth, marital status, nationality, father's name or other optional Biodata information
Photo
Signature
Declaration or other user-entered statements
Providing optional information is your choice. The App does not require Aadhaar number, caste, religion or unrelated sensitive identity information for creating a Resume.
Accuracy of Resume Information
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information entered into a Resume, CV or Biodata is accurate, truthful, lawful and appropriate for its intended use.
Bhoosnap Tools does not verify your:
identity;
educational qualifications;
employment history;
experience;
skills;
certifications;
references; or
other statements entered into a Resume.
You must not use the Resume/CV/Biodata Maker to create fraudulent qualifications, false employment information, impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or otherwise deceive an employer, institution or other recipient.
Templates and Generated PDFs
The App provides Resume/CV/Biodata templates as document-preparation tools. Template availability, layout and formatting may change between App versions.
The App attempts to generate a properly formatted PDF based on the information you provide. However, Bhoosnap Tools does not guarantee that:
every employer or organisation will prefer or accept a particular template;
a Resume will pass an Applicant Tracking System (ATS);
use of a particular template will improve employment prospects;
generated content will satisfy the requirements of every employer, institution or application system; or
creating a Resume using the App will result in employment, an interview, selection or any other particular outcome.
You should review the final PDF carefully before submitting or sharing it.
Local Resume Storage
Resume/CV/Biodata drafts and Resume-owned Photo or Signature files are stored locally in app-controlled storage on your device.
The Resume Maker does not automatically upload your Resume content to a job portal, employer, Bhoosnap Tools server or online Resume-generation service.
Saving or sharing a Resume PDF occurs only when you initiate that action.
When you export or share a Resume PDF with another application, website, employer or person, their own privacy and data-handling practices apply.
You agree not to use the App:
· for fraud, impersonation, identity theft, forgery, or deception;
· to create misleading or falsified official Documents;
· to violate intellectual-property or privacy rights;
· to distribute malware or harmful content;
· to violate any applicable law or regulation; or
· in a way that intentionally damages, disrupts, or abuses the App or related services.
We may restrict features or discontinue access where reasonably necessary to protect users, services, or legal interests.
We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee that the App will always operate without interruption, errors, incompatibility, data loss, or processing failures.
Features may depend on:
· Android version
· Available device memory
· Google Play services
· Device manufacturer behaviour
· Third-party SDK availability
· File format or File condition
We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that:
· every File can be successfully processed;
· every generated File will meet every third-party portal’s requirements;
· every scanned or compressed File will retain identical visual quality;
· digital-signature verification establishes authenticity or legal validity;
· every device will support every feature; or
· the App will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bhoosnap Tools will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from use of the App, including losses arising from:
· rejected application Files;
· missed application deadlines;
· loss of locally stored Documents;
· accidental deletion;
· incorrect requirements entered by the user;
· third-party File modification;
· unavailable third-party services;
· misuse of generated Files; or
· reliance on PDF signature-verification results as proof of authenticity.
You remain responsible for reviewing important Documents before submission and retaining appropriate backups.
This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
Your use of the App is also governed by the DocResizer: Photo & Signature Privacy Policy, which explains how information is accessed, processed, shared, retained, and protected.
We may update these Terms when the App, applicable law, business practices, or third-party services change.
The latest version will display an updated “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory rights available to users under applicable law.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of a competent court having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.
